An exotic fusion of Japanese and Thai cuisine. I tried the Tom Yam Ramen, strong taste with its thick tom yup soup and generous portion of seafood. But beware it’s spiciness is not for the faint hearted. For dessert I tried Sake ice cream. Self explanatory, it packs the taste of Japanese alcohol sake with the right level of sweetness. Recommended.
First thing we noticed was the restaurant’s space is very limited. Highly recommend to make reservation before coming in. The dangerous baby prawn was cripsy and easy to munch, great for appetizer. When our mains arrived, the KFC was cripy, flavourful and juicy, it came with a sauce to dip the chicken as well. However, the tom yum broth was too spicy for our liking. The server was friendly to speak with as she recommended us the mango stickcy rice with coconut ice cream as dessert too. Overall I enjoyed my dinner, would highly recommend anyone come and try.
Food is pricy but very tasty and the staff are attentive and friendly. Place is small so its best to make a reservation before coming. Loved the Dangerous Baby Prawns as a snack. Definitely will return.
tomyam ramen is nice. price is slightly high, but still acceptable. good service, good ambience, decorations are nice, can get really nice photo there. however, place is really small and if u wanna go there better make a reservation first.
This cafe serves Thai Japanese cuisine! All their dishes is really good especially the Tom Yam noodles and the KFC. Is a little pricey but worth a try!
Food was amazing! Ambience & deco was calmingly cool, eventhough it was a full house. Although a bit pricey, you are getting your money’s worth for the food & atmosphere
Very limited dining space, so if you come in a big group you’re expected to wait for an hour or more to be seated. The sashimi rice bowl & fried shrimp is a must!!
Ordered salmon tata and tom yum ramen. Exceeds expectations. Just as spicy as I’d like it to be. Food was excellent and staffs were friendly and attentive. Definitely would come again.
Great service and ambience.
We had the following:
Beef: Good
Salad: Good
Chirashi: Can do better, rice was dry
Considering everything, its a nice place and wud visit again.
Visited Kaiju last month as one of my friends kept on recommending me this place. Tried their Tomyam Udon and I’d say that it has got to be the best Tomyam I’ve ever had as it’s not spicy and sour as the usual one, the broth is thick and really really flavourful. The Tuna Tataki is nice too and it matches so well with the papaya salad. As of the dessert, I get their idea but it tasted just so weird for me lol. The coconut ice cream is really nice tho. Going back soon for their Tomyam udon. 😋
