Sitka’s menu is found to be rather interesting and creative. Most importantly, delicious.
Tuna tataki was light and refreshing. Very refined plating. You can’t deny that your eyes eat first before you do.
Unagi cracker had the combination of sweet, salty richness from the unagi, a contrasting bite from the ginger and apple, all bonded by the crunch of the nori. Amazing dish.
Coca-cola lamb. Who knew soft drinks can braise such gamy meat and turn it into a crowd pleaser.
Tender, sweet, spicy and juicy. Good enough for me.
The dumplings were noteworthy as well. They are packed full of rich flavors and the chili oil gives it the kick it needed.
Charred cabbage was a good side dish. Smokiness from the char gave it the intense flavor the boring op’ cabbage needed.
XO ramen was meh to be honest but it is not bad. Some carbs to fill you up as necessary.
Very good food.. went on a weekday and apart from the ala-carte menu, they also have a 2 or 3 course set lunch. Started off with the fried wonton and side salad. Wonton was very good, not oily and balance really well with the freshness of the salad.
Second dish was rice bowl with fish and shrimp colles in sambal sauce. If you are looking for a “kick”, definitely u will like this as the sauce was spicy.
Good food specifically western with a glass of red wine.
Highly recommended place should visit once..

Food is tasty .
So 3 of us had two sharing platters - the Prime Aus Steak and Steamed Market fish, one snack - Tuna Tataki, and one dessert - Butter cake with brown butter icecream. We ordered bread and butter as well as the order was simply not filling enough.
For the food, the prime aus steak was the most outstanding of all, the combination of medium rare steak cooked in salty and slightly sour yozo kosho butter paired with zucchini and cherry tomato is just perfect. I do find the steamed market fish unique as it comes with fish roe (Tobiko) and Pomelo bits, it does feel like a chinese dish given the vegetable used. The Tuna Tataki was a little too sour for my taste as it overpowers the tuna’s taste, the sourness may even leave a tingling effect on your lips after. For the dessert, we absolutely loved it. The name may seem simple with just a butter cake and icecream - it was nothing like that; The cake was crisp on the outside, moist on the inside, wonderfully paired with the fragrant Brown Butter icecream and crunchy walnuts.
For the drinks, i do enjoy the Tropical Rum, Pineapple & Lychee which was great for someone who doesnt really know how to appreciate alcohol. However the cocktail was on the sour side which clashes with the dishes which were mainly sour as well; that was a mistake on my part.
For the ambience and setting, We had to sit outside as we did not make any prior reservations. It was a Saturday night so there was abit of a crowd, and the restaurant doesn’t have that much space either. So making reservations would probably give you a better experience with that.
Price was slightly pricey but it was worth it considering the quality of the food and the nice service given. I would definitely come back to try the Lamb Ragu Pasta one day.

I wasn’t very impressed the last time I was here, so when the birthday girl chose this place, I was sceptical. However, the menu has changed - and for the better! I would recommend the risotto, smoked unagi and also the chicken/chive dumplings. Skip the noodles with xo sauce - an average Wan Tan mee seller can do it better. Service was wonderful - thank you Joanna for being so attentive!
Great food, great service, great ambience. Perfect for a date night or a casual hang out with friends! The food was lovely, the dessert was even better 😍
Food has always been good. The lobster roll & duck confit on waffle was to die for. However the main sharing dishes has nothing to shout about since other Chinese stall may serve it better. The food was okay. Decent portion .
Cozy restaurant and healthy foods . services are good and fast. Portion of foods are sufficient for one person. Love to dine in at there due to lots of parking and safe parking area.
Cool ambience, good food, fast services. You best try its lamb. So tender and moist. And aahhh, the fish too. Nyumss.. The dessert is a bit off to me. Still, the meals are worth a try.
My first time to Plaza Batai and I had a good time visiting Sitka Restaurant! Look at the amazing setting of all the foods, I am mouth-watering looking at it :D I would recommend to try out the Foie Gras Beni Waffle!
