Always my Japanese go to restaurant. RECOMMEND to get the Sashimi; very thick & juicy! I love the ambience & the staffs are very well-mannered & polite. Great place for family too.

Service can be 2* once they get tired and after serving 100 people. Go early.
This place served nice Japanese food! The teriyaki beef is abit too rough though but it’s very flavourful. We ordered the sashimi set with sushi and also beef teriyaki set with sushi. The set were myr50 each and it’s worth it to add the sushi for 20myr. Sashimi were quite fresh compared to other places. The staff and chef were extremely friendly. They greeted us the moment we enter the restaurant!
This restaurant took over the Rakuzen location but kept their quality and variety of Japanese food. Any combination of sushi, sashimi, soup, salad, cooked or raw food is always a palate celebration. On of the raw fish was a little bit chewy but besides that point everything was excellent.
Variety of choices here, also with high quality of food. Had the set with rice and the portion was okay. Love the salmon but the unagi was a little too sweet for my taste. Sushi rolls were great. Desserts were so-so. Overall, was a great experience.
First Japanese restaurant I've come across in Subang with generous and thick servings of Sahimi. The crab salad is amazing. In addition to this it has a great ambience.
Jyu Raku is one of the few restaurants that Japanese Expatriate will visit (treat as comfort food) during their time in Malaysia. As the pioneer in Subang Jaya Area, Jyu Raku is famous for assigning Japanese Head Chef to lead the kitchen crew and uses only fresh air-flown ingredient from the origin country.
10/10 would eat again.For Sashimi lovers, PLEASE come for the sashimi set.Good variety, Salmon was definitely the highlight.Everything was fresh, no bad aftertaste AT ALL . They definitely aren't stingy with their portions, every slice was thick and full of flavours! Prices are similar compared to those top japanese restaurants out there,but their food will definitely satisfy your cravings. Service was top notch,they definitely care about the standards here.Try it for yourself!

I seldom step into Subang Jaya so I am genuinely surprised by the number of Japanese restaurants in the town. Seems like there’s a concentration of them especially opposite SJMC where you could find no less than 5 Japanese restaurants lined up side by side. After contemplating which restaurant we should eat at, Jyu Raku was chosen because we have been hearing good things about them. Not to mention the fact that acclaimed chef Hideaki Nakajima from Minori joined the culinary team not too long ago.
Good Japanese food and attentive staff. Not a place for a romantic dinner but if you are going with friends, definitely give it a try. We ordered the following:
- Edamame: seemingly a very simple dish but was good balance - just enough salt to bring out the best taste of the edamame
- Salad: we wanted to have the avocado salad but they ran out of avocado. So we went instead for the salmon salad. Light and refreshing
- Salmon belly sashimi: just as it should be. Full of flavour, richness. We ordered two plates of this.
- Wagyu beef pieces: must say this was very good. We asked for it to be cooked medium. Beef was very succulent, soft and so so juicy!! Definitely must try if you love your beef.
