The goods:
Well lit, lovely setup, clean. The owner/partners/staff were friendly and helpful.
The food was awesome I felt, went in expecting the usual “so-so” cafe meal but the chicken burger I had (off the menu recommended by the insider) was absolute delish! Wife had rosemary pasta which she requested for it to be “spicy” and not only were they able to accommodate, they made it good for her liking. Wife gave them thumbs up for the pasta. I had ice tea, and surprisingly with a just a hint of sugar (very kurang manis) ... hits the spot! Food is served hot!
They are also proactively reducing the use of plastic by encouraging BYO containers for take away, and charges a premium if you insist on plastics. Hope they do away with straws too some day, people tend to forget it was so possible to drink from the “rim to the mouth”.
They also have a book exchange corner. Ambience and BGM is light on the ears.
The buts:
Perhaps due to Malaysia’s heaty weather all year round, and the cafe being at the top floor, it feels rather warm for my liking.
They had me at laksa pesto pasta. Hands down the best fusion pasta dish I've ever tried. I couldn't imagine how laksa could taste without the gravy but this one was on point. Will definitely come again for it! ;)
If you like very spicy food, I recommend Creamy Curry Chicken pasta. Really good!
Laksa Pesto Pasta also my favourite, it still captures the original taste of laksa.
Beef stew also delicious, side dish: rice and soup is something unique for me.
Dessert is okay, but need to improve.
The cafe deco is nice. Got this one owner/employee is attentive and good looking.
I want to give 5 star, but I will give 4, since I want them to maintain n improve the quality.
Good food at reasonable price. Location is a little hidden at 5th floor of the shopping mall. We tried the signature chicken sandwich which tasted good. The home made bread was good. Flat white was okay though we expected to be hotter but came warm. Roasted chicken was alright as well. Overall satisfied.
Love the shakshouka and the lamb sausage. Laksa pesto pasta is very interesting dish. My favourite comfort food and a hidden gem in Jaya shopping centre
Ordered laksa pasto chicken pasta and fried chicken burger set (add on cheese). The portion of the burger is really big while the laksa got it's own unique recipe. Manage to get 20% off the food thru offpeak app booking. Neyra Shazeyra ordered crush smoothie spinach, a healthy drink that detox your body
Had my dinner with my boyfie Kay ShafiQ at Good Food & Co, Jaya Shopping Centre.

Love this place. My favourite foodie joint at Jaya Shopping Centre. Cozy, unpretentious and serves wholesome dishes both Western and Asian.
The roast chicken is top class, and the last pesto is outstanding. Give the lamb and beef stews a shot too.
