Been staying in this area for years, never get to know such shop in the area until recently was told by my friend. Went there during early high tea time. There were not much patrons at that time but shop was started to fill up after reaching high tea period. Ordered their signature salted egg croissant, it was very crispy and the salted egg was damn a lot. Overall experience was good. Price wise slightly on a high side.
Salted Egg Croissant is nice as melted out when u cut it off. Choco Banana also good as banana well blend together with Cocoa.. Got provided sky juice as I can wash my mouth after eating one taste of croissant.
The best croissant in town. Tried salted egg, peanut butter, lemon, and chocolate croissants. Chocolate is not my favourite, it taste good but nothing special. But the salted egg and peanut butter are heaven !!! Will definitely come back for more !
yummy to the salted egg croissant, so well done , this is one of my regular places that i go often. The bread choices is great. Cafe excellent! service full stars
The salted egg yolk croissant is the reason why I come back everytime. The musangking croissant is good as well. I ordered cappuccino which is too milky for my liking. Besides their signature croissant , their other pastries was just alright.
I would normally come here whenever I'm around ss2 because I really like the croissants and buns in this cafe. They're freshly baked and goes really well with a cup of hot tea or coffee. Good service from the workers as well 👍.
👍👍 Salted egg yolk croissant! Flaky pastry and together with the salted egg yolk filling, it was a real delectable treat!
All the other pastries look very inviting and delicious. Look forward to coming back for more!
Tried their salted egg croissant and i must say, it's so delicious. They have lotsa pastries to choose, you'll be very "rambang mata". Apart from the "so-so" coffee, everything here is nice.
Came to try the pastries for the first time. Bought the famous salted egg yolk croissant and an egg tart. There were a lot of yolk in the croissant and I think it was not bad tasting at all, but the croissant could be a little bit more buttery. The egg tart, I love though. It's like a creme brulee tart, creamy and thick. The baked goods were a little on the pricey side though. And not very big selection though. Might go back occasionally for a treat from time to time.
After lunch, my friend brought me along to pick her daughter up from school and to send her to Chinese language tuition. We had two hours to fill before my friend had to pick her up again. She brought me to a bakery and cafe, Le Bread Days. My friend said this bakery serves one of the best durian croissant.
Didn't get to try their salted egg croissant but get to try the durian and chicken croissant, sandwich and danish. Absolutely delicious, definitely will come again..
One word for their egg yolk croissant - good, two word- super good ! Worth it to purposely come over here and try them ! There are many more choices other than egg yolk will find a chance to try them all !
As someone that love croissant I was very looking forward to this, and really I wasn't dessapointed, there is heaps of choices of croissants, durians ones, chocolates ones and more, the prices are actually very cheap, and the drinks too, I recommend it to anyone that loves pastries.
Cosy little bakery/cafe with amazing goods! Tried almost all of the flavoured croissants and loved them all, taste profile is always there and texture is as it should be. Particularly liked the durian croquette, very fragrant and tastes very authentic as opposed to other sugar laden 'durian' desserts.
Quite a variety of croissant and love their salted egg croissant.....
This shop la cared next to new paris restaurant in ss2 ...visited here just to get some coffee and bread with friends🤗🤗
2 things I dislike about this shop is that:
1. The shop is quite small and feel so uncomfortable as ppl keep passing u or you have to stand up to let ppl pass through....
2.this cafe have a really serious echo so sitting inside there is quite headache so not recommended if you prefer some quiet place to chit chat with ur friend....
Oh ya, due to limited space..the kitchen is near to ur sitting spot😂😂 so you can feel the heat wave everytime the worker deliver fresh bake croissant😣😣
They have quite a variety of croissant here but the one that impressed me was their molten salted egg croissant....the salted egg just flow out from yhr croissant the moment u cut it open😚😚😚 dipping it with your croissant...perfect!!😍
Note that their molten salted egg croissant served daily at 9am so be there's as early as sometimes they might sold out...usually finished off afternoon time....😂😂
They have another outlet in ss15 and dine in there once, feel that the version of sales egg croissant served there is not as good as the one serve here...😅
Do visit if u are a fans of salted egg mayb?😏😏
Tried the tart and it taste wonderful. But the coffee was not a pleasant experience 🤐 I tried their signature C. A big no. No coffee taste. No coffee scent. And all I can taste when I drink is the foam.
How do I start? Egg yolk custard croissant is definitely worth travelling thousand miles back. There isn't any way to eat it without having egg yolk custard oozing out from the warm buttery croissant and one is certainly ain't enough. And yes it is addictive and sinful in the same time...
Read a lot about its molten croissant. As I live nearby, wasn't too much of a hassle to pop in to check the availability of the croissant. As of Jan 2016, the molten croissant are ready in two batches (11.30am and 3.30pm). Went there on a Monday at 3.50pm. There was a queue but not unbearable.
Croissant itself was very buttery (but light) and fluffy. The salted egg custard though in my opinion was a bit of a miss - the sugar in the custard overpowered the salty egg taste. Have given a 3.5 for the croissant taste / texture.
The cafe though has loads of other very nice bakery items. Will definitely try some.
Just had breakfast here recently and I must say I enjoyed it very much. The ambience is quite homely and peaceful. The waitstaff are very friendly and service is relatively good. Prices are also decent, most things are priced around RM10.
