I've been there twice and I find the place never overcrowded, which makes chatting and hanging out great for me, except for the blaring music. I love both the savory and sweet pies! I personally don't eat cheesecake but I find their blueberry cheese pie light and creamy. The lamb pie was a simple dish but makes good comfort food
Very tasty pies. For the savoury ones, the pulled lamb pie and chunky steak pie is definitely the star (my meat lah!). Only slight criticism is the pies could have been a little warmer. For the sweet ones, try the salted caramel.
I stopped in here on Sunday afternoon, it's quite quiet at 16:30. I ordered the Elvis sweet pie. I thought the crust was a little thick, but as I ate it I realized it was perfect complement for the chocolate, peanut, banana and cream. The Elvis is 12RM, but I used a Fave voucher 15RM for the pie and drink. Good value I thought.
Ordered the dark chocolate s'more pie and salted caramel cheesecake which are both amazing. Everything is so well done, the crust has a very good balance with the filling and so with every single bite you can have the crust and the filling.
The redeeming thing about this place is their lemon curd pies. Just like how mommy used to make them. I love you lemon curd pies.
Savoury pies are just too salty for my individual taste. Sorry guys.
A classic dessert place in Uptown!
For anyone who stays in KL or Selangor, when we think about cafes in Uptown, one of the first cafes we think of is - A Pie Thing (and for good reason!)
Open till late for those late night chats, great atmosphere, chill vibes but most importantly, they serve AMAZING pies! My personal favourite is the S’more’s pie which I’ve been ordering since I was 16 (3 years now!) I loveeee the balance of sweet and salty! Their sweet pies are awesome but make sure not to miss out on their savoury pies which are so good as well!
Definitely a cafe I’ll never get sick of visiting!
I absolutely LOVE A Pie Thing in Damansara Uptown. They serve up the best pies. Fat, compact, full of flavour, and topped with mushy peas, mashed potato, and gravy. Mmmmm!. The only reason I don’t eat it so often if because it’s a long walk away from the office and it’s close to RM20 🙁
Excellent dessert and lunch cafe. Was quite surprised when I saw they had savoury pies for offer. Went with the classical blueberry cheese pie and chocolate fudge. Both were top notch and some of the best desserts I have had in a while. Shop felt really aesthetic and was well designed. Staff was friendly and warm as well. Would recommend to anyone seeking for free diabetes.
The location isn’t hard to find. The server friendly and very helpful when I asked about the pies. Tried the smoores pie the taste good but not my typical snacks. Will come back for to try another pie.
We tried the Nutella pie with ice cream. Very rich in flavour and light on the stomach. Doesn't feel too full or jelak. Nice crunchy crustamd soft on the inside
Their smores pie is to die for. Like I've killed 2 people for the last one. Lines are usually fairly short and they have wifi. It gets a little cold though.
The pie is so delicious! But I would advice you to go there with empty stomach as the portion is quite big. I made a mistake of eating lunch first before went to A Pie Thing. I ended up being so full. The environment also nice and cozy.
