My first time 12th May 2018, and it was an absolute yums with two thumbs up!! Being from out of town, I was alone, joined the queue, and got myself a spot some 45mins later. Just loved the crabs that came out piping hot with an accompanying gravy that's sweet and sour with a very mild spice taste that flavours it so well. I also had the garlic prawns and that did not disappoint. The chicken wings are also nice but really, it’s the crabs and prawns that are the highlights here!
I love all the food here but especially the Chinese fried rice (reminds me a bit of Spanish paella but drier and cooked with fresh, not leftover, rice). The crabs are superb!! Can thoroughly recommend.

Chilli crab - sauce is really good, a good balance of savoury, spiciness and tinge of sourness. Crab is really fresh where you don't get that bad crab smell at all. In fact the meat tastes refreshingly sweet on its own! 4.5/5
Fried rice - has a homely feel to it and very good wokhei, when you pour the chilli crab sauce over it elevates the flavour even more. 3.5/5
Definitely a recommended spot for good and unique chilli crab.
Marvelous place to dine in with friends & family. Not for lonely eater tho. Bit spicy but taste great. If you can't stand the spice, maybe u can ask them to tone it down. Anyway the chicken wings is superb & order the sugarcane juice too. Sedap ok. And most vital is come early. If not u have to wait in a long que. I waited 30 minutes ok. Haha

The reviews from everyone I heard were quite good and I was keen to give a try . Recommended dishes are fried rice, chilli crab. Super delicious meals with reasonable price. Seafood are fresh and tasty.The location quite hard to find parking environment there was average, was seated not quickly as we had to queue for a while.

I have been coming to Fatty Crab ever since i was small, i use to celebrate my birthday every year here. Ive been eating Fatty Crab growing up. I would say the taste changed a little along the way but still very good. It's the best sweet & sour crab I ever had, not to be biased since I had it since I was small. The taste of crab is unique (sour, spicy and little sweet). I love ordering toasted bread just so i can drench it in sauce and crab meat.
Now the crab is more expensive and smaller than before but the taste is superb. I will only order Sweet & Sour crab and chicken wings, the other dishes i never bothered to order because these 2 are the only ones that are worth filling my tummy with. Ordered other dishes before but don't find it special.
There usually a long queue on weekends, either you come at 5pm or 9pm then you don't have to wait long or you can come on Sunday, you can walk the night market while someone queues. After all these years despite a couple of robberies they still refuse to allow payment by credit card, so bring loads of cash.
Got a referral from a friend that this place is a must eat in KL. And indeed the chilli crab is good. Eventhough from the look of it, it looks like the sauce has a lot of cornstarch, but the taste is very good. A little spicy, a little sour, a little sweet. Very good. They also have chicken wings but I find it subpar when compare to the crab. Thank @dada.tastes for the recommendations.

The waiting game is strong for this one. But for those crab and seafood lovers out there, this is the place to get your hands down and dirty for some good grub. The crabs are not that huge but they are fresh, juicy and just the right amount of spiciness. Don't forget to order yong chow fried rice so you can mix the rice into the crab's shell. The chicken wings here are the best that i have ever tasted
Not a bIg fan of crab, but it was so good. The crab gravy taste good and indescribable. Nasi goreng was delicious and the toast and chicken wings are a must-order-sidedishes. No reservation allowed and you have to queue for the table.

Crabs!!!!!!!The chilli crab is Delicious.The sauce is like heaven lah.Can just eat it with plain bread.t You won't need anything else.Everything here is nice.They serve crabs,fried rice,fried chicken,satay and fish.Im not really a fan of fish,so honestly not sure about the tastelah.Others,I can guarantee it is Delicious.It opens at 5 in the evening but it's gets full by 7.Make sure you are there early so you don't need to queue up.Some might say that the prices are expensive but I personally feel that it's worth because the food is so damn Goooooodlah.Thumbs Up.Just make sure before you die,you come here and makan some ketam first.No regret one.
