Was googling for a halal place to eat at Jonker Walk when I chanced upon the shop. Have always loved the atmosphere of eating by the river so decided to have dinner there with 13 other family members. We were greeted warmly by the owner who also took his time to recommend dishes to us. He also occasionally checked with us if the food we ordered was fine. We were surprised at the affordability especially when a set consisting rib eye steak, soup, drink & dessert was below rm50. To top it off, the portion was so filling and definitely finger licking good. Because of our big group and having a little toddler in tow, we dined inside the restaurant which was quaint, homey and rustic. Loved the ambience and music that was playing. Overall, my family & I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there and will definitely recommend this place to anyone heading to Malacca.

Hidden Gems of Jonker. We love the place so much. The ambience especially... A great place to chillax for couples or friends . The food, DELICIOUS!! All the staff are courteous . Highly recommend the riverside seat to enjoy the atmosphere of the Melacca river.
