Yes another bucket list place I've visited in KL
This place is always crowded and had to wait quite a while god seat availability...
But worth the wait
One busy and chod place but the staff makes it dun softly and easy..
We ordered
Penang Curry which was piping hot and each spoon held tons of flavours, the noodle were soaked in that hot soup and those Shrimp and veggies were outstanding.
And how can one miss their NASI LEMAK PENANG, the presentation itself was amaaaazing. The Chicken leg piece was Super tender and slightly crip skin π€©π a chilll dip and half boiled egg on side. That dip oj side was fabbb and best with rice.
And other dishes like beef noodles and tofu skin Shrimp was outstanding πππππππ
Do try out their Coffee and desserts!
A local gem indeed. Little Penang Kafe serve up one the best Penang / Malaysian Street food in KL - and importantly, in comfort! The food is delicious and pretty good value for money. I love the Assam laksa, lobak (Chinese pork roll) and kerabu paku pakis (a type of fern salad). Very hearty and definitely the kind you will crave often after your first bite.
Great place to come for all types of Penang food. We had Char Kuay Teow, Penang Prawn Mee and Siamese Laksa. Also ordered the 3 Colour Tea. Can get busy on the weekends so there might be a wait for a table.
If you miss Penang food, then you should definitely come to this cafe for a bit of satisfaction. The food here taste good and almost similar to Penangβs cuisine. Price are worth it as well. Itβs not expensive, donβt worry.
The place was crowded, but it was clean. The servers were very kind and friendly. I love the rojak buah because it was very tasty. The pucuk vegetable was delicousy too. The lorbak and the laksa were nit bad too.
Tried their dessert for afternoon tea. Ordered ABC, Cendol Durian and Ice Barley drink. They all taste good. Great atmosphere, nice seatings and lot of good food. Will come back for dinner.
This is a great option if you want quality authentic Malaysian food in KLCC. We loved the Assam Laksa, Char Kway Teow, and Rojak. The price is good for the quality and location. For me this is better than anything in the Suria KLCC food court.
They have one of best Char Kway Teuw, so flavorful. The place is a crowded since its lunch but the serving is fast. You guys should give it a try if you are planning to visit KLCC Suria Mall.
My search on where I can get the best Asam Laksa in Kuala Lumpur lead me to Little Penang Cafe in Suria Mall. And being a tourist, the excitement to eat authentic Malaysian food was real and I am so glad that Little Penang Cafe didn't disappoint.Β
The crowd was a mix of families, friends and working professionals. My husband and me ordered Asam Laksa & Nasi Lemak Chicken. Both dishes, good enough for 2 were mindblowing where taste & flavours were concerned. The order was taken swiftly, we luckily faced no language barriers and the food, piping hot and fresh, was on our table in minutes.
I wish this cafe opens up in India because nothing I've eaten here matches the food I ate in KL.
Everything here is good. Itβs almost always full so be early or youβd have to wait for a while to get a table. Service here is fast though. The place is also very closely arranged so if you donβt like crowded places, you may not enjoy the ambience that much. Must try their: lor bak / ju hu char / prawn mee / curry laksa / assam laksa / kuey teow / kerabu pucuk paku / water chestnut dessert / cendol durian! I think I may have listed their entire menu hahaha. But everything is so good - without a doubt.
Busy outlet but efficient. If you are craving for Penang Food, this is the place. They even have nutmeg juice and Patpoh Herbal drinks... how much ore Penang than that. Food is halal too, so you can enjoy lobak here.
Everything I like about malay food with penang style I can find in this restaurant. Starting from char kwetiaw, otak-otak, cendol, mee kari, all with authentic penang flavors. Always visit this place when I come to KL.
Food never disappoints. Always having to queue before entering due to it being so packed during peak hours. Yummy Penang style food in KL. Price is moderate, but still not too expensive.
Their Lam Mee (Birthday Mee) is my most favorite ever. All the set meals are excellent, I love the chicken one the most. Fishball noodle soup is excellent as well. Love the grass jelly drink.
This little cafe is quaint and reminiscent of an old world Penang kopitiam.
It's always crowded, and waiting times are looooong, but service here is quick and great every time I've eaten here.
During my short trip in KL, I did not miss eating at Little Penang after visiting the famous Petronas.
It was a tiny place but was really packed on a Thursday evening. Luckily, we were immediately seated and did not have to wait for long. I ordered their Kari Hantu Set because I was craving for some curry andΒ added Teh Tarik as my drink because why not? I'm in Malaysia!
The beef curry was delicious. I like spicy food and it really made me happy. Just the right level of spiciness for me. The sides that were with the meal were also very good. I almost embarrassed myself for eating so quickly (I was really hungry and enjoying the food).
I will definitely go back here once I visit Malaysia again.
This little restaurant is always bustling with energy. It's such a lively place to visit with anyone or even alone. The colourful hustle bustle will enliven your spirits.
We had the Penang curry mee and kari hantu set. The service was super quick, prices were very affordable and the staff was helpful and pleasant.
The Penang curry mee was soothing, fragrant and flavourful. It was loaded with sea-food and fish which was quite delightful for a fish and sea food lover like me. It was my BIG bowl of comfort. So filling! Love the portions here btw. However, I found a tiny shrimp grit which is the reason for a slightly low rating.
The kari hantu set was spicy and delicious. The beef was cooked to perfection. Again, the portions were quite filling.
I would definitely come here again to try out a lot other things on the menu.
Must visit!
I seriously love the hantu kari meal set. The gravy is thick and it really suits my taste. The lorbak is also really good. Its really crispy. Will come again to try the other set meals
