Yes another bucket list place I've visited in KL
This place is always crowded and had to wait quite a while god seat availability...
But worth the wait
One busy and chod place but the staff makes it dun softly and easy..
We ordered
Penang Curry which was piping hot and each spoon held tons of flavours, the noodle were soaked in that hot soup and those Shrimp and veggies were outstanding.
And how can one miss their NASI LEMAK PENANG, the presentation itself was amaaaazing. The Chicken leg piece was Super tender and slightly crip skin 🤩👌 a chilll dip and half boiled egg on side. That dip oj side was fabbb and best with rice.
And other dishes like beef noodles and tofu skin Shrimp was outstanding 👌👌👌👌😋😋😋
Do try out their Coffee and desserts!
A local gem indeed. Little Penang Kafe serve up one the best Penang / Malaysian Street food in KL - and importantly, in comfort! The food is delicious and pretty good value for money. I love the Assam laksa, lobak (Chinese pork roll) and kerabu paku pakis (a type of fern salad). Very hearty and definitely the kind you will crave often after your first bite.
Great place to come for all types of Penang food. We had Char Kuay Teow, Penang Prawn Mee and Siamese Laksa. Also ordered the 3 Colour Tea. Can get busy on the weekends so there might be a wait for a table.
If you miss Penang food, then you should definitely come to this cafe for a bit of satisfaction. The food here taste good and almost similar to Penang’s cuisine. Price are worth it as well. It’s not expensive, don’t worry.
The place was crowded, but it was clean. The servers were very kind and friendly. I love the rojak buah because it was very tasty. The pucuk vegetable was delicousy too. The lorbak and the laksa were nit bad too.
Tried their dessert for afternoon tea. Ordered ABC, Cendol Durian and Ice Barley drink. They all taste good. Great atmosphere, nice seatings and lot of good food. Will come back for dinner.
This is a great option if you want quality authentic Malaysian food in KLCC. We loved the Assam Laksa, Char Kway Teow, and Rojak. The price is good for the quality and location. For me this is better than anything in the Suria KLCC food court.
They have one of best Char Kway Teuw, so flavorful. The place is a crowded since its lunch but the serving is fast. You guys should give it a try if you are planning to visit KLCC Suria Mall.
My search on where I can get the best Asam Laksa in Kuala Lumpur lead me to Little Penang Cafe in Suria Mall. And being a tourist, the excitement to eat authentic Malaysian food was real and I am so glad that Little Penang Cafe didn't disappoint.
The crowd was a mix of families, friends and working professionals. My husband and me ordered Asam Laksa & Nasi Lemak Chicken. Both dishes, good enough for 2 were mindblowing where taste & flavours were concerned. The order was taken swiftly, we luckily faced no language barriers and the food, piping hot and fresh, was on our table in minutes.
I wish this cafe opens up in India because nothing I've eaten here matches the food I ate in KL.
Everything here is good. It’s almost always full so be early or you’d have to wait for a while to get a table. Service here is fast though. The place is also very closely arranged so if you don’t like crowded places, you may not enjoy the ambience that much. Must try their: lor bak / ju hu char / prawn mee / curry laksa / assam laksa / kuey teow / kerabu pucuk paku / water chestnut dessert / cendol durian! I think I may have listed their entire menu hahaha. But everything is so good - without a doubt.
