I really enjoyed the 3 type meat. It went really well with the self grind sesame and sweet sauce. Miso soup was perfect. Vegetable is refillable. Service is really fast and efficient.
I had a meal at Tonkatsu by Wa Kitchen when wandering around the Pavilion. Just too many choices there and in the end, I got tired of walking around!
I had a prawn katsudon and a clam soup. Both were really enjoyable.
Service a bit so so otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
Overall I rate this restaurant 4.8/5. The set meal ( kimchi pork belly) is huge and the rice, cabbage, soup can be refilled. The miso soup has no tofu but mushroom, carrot, meats and other ingredients to make it so rich. For sure I will go back again for different meal set.
One of my favorite go to place for tonkatsu. The restaurant layout is comfortable with adequate space between tables. The food is good and portion reasonable. Best is that we can have multiple refills of salad, rice and soup and it is reasonably priced.

Dulu di Jakarta gw sering makan yg ada di Plaza Indonesia, tapi sayang sudah tutup dan mungkin sekarang tinggal yg di Plaza Senayan.
I've visited this place several times, love the simple yet comforting flavours of the pork/prawn katsu. The food here is decent and great for a casual lunch. But I advise to order only their katsu sets as everything else is mostly subpar. The price is okay, neither cheap or expensive, in my opinion.
Pork is juicy, crispy and the meat is thick. Suit well with the sesame mixture (you can mix the sesame sauce by yourself to adjust the flavor). Come with a set of rice, miso soup (super nice! the soup is rich with chunk of dubu inside), salad, dubu (soft tofu) with a bit of sauce that i don't know what is it, and a slice of lemon.
BEST PART IS; they will refill the rice for free! free flow rice, salad and miso soup are available. Order green tea for your drink and it is free flow too! Very worth the price!
Staffs are very welcome and warm. Service is quick. Plus, the place is divided into 2 place; smoking and non-smoking. Price is okay especially with the free flow rice and else ($$/$$$$). Definitely revisit!
My first time to try out tonkatsu even they have opened for years. There are many choices and taste is good. For me, the fried foods are very crispy and fresh and rice are good as well. Rice is very important especially when match with tonkatsu. 👍🏻🍴🍚🍤
Loved it! Would encourage you to order the katsu with fat in it. It was a lot juicier and more taste to the katsu. You could also enjoy the free flow rice and cabbage salad. They forgot a thing or two when i wanted extra sauce. But then again, it was minor.
