Been eating at this restaurant for past 7 years. A lot of memories here and till this day it has never disappointed me in every dish I ordered. My favorite is salted fish fried rice, crab meat fried rice, Cantonese kuey teow, kailan yin yang and many more! U just gotta come and experience it yourself. The servers are all friendly so far, hope the quality of service maintains that way. They will ask u how's their food that u ordered today if it's OK or no.. That's really good customer service trait that not many restaurants at all have.
I come here during my break time and I always get the wet butter chicken with rice. I can’t say much about their other dishes because I am always alone and I don’t usually get a mix of dishes. But I did order the dumpling soup once and it was huge! Definitely for sharing even if the portion size was a small. I hope all their other dishes are generous portions.
The butter chicken is unlike any other I have had. I love an original creamy, sweet butter chicken but this is really good too. Kinda like a kurma. It is so filling and yummy.
I asked if their dim sum was frozen and the waiter said no, they are not. IT IS SO HARD TO FIND HALAL DIM SUM THAT IS NOT FROZEN. The dim sum was really good too, I had their Siew Mai and they definitely nailed it. They are quite pricey, perhaps because I always settle for frozen dim sum! Succulent prawn filling indeed.
Will order something else next time or bring my mum along for some authentic halal chinese food :)

Me and my husband just ate in there.. i tried chicken salted egg, wonton mee, mantau, and sizzling tofu.. all delicious 👍🏻 Better than chinese muslim restaurant near my house. I think i’ll come back there again to.
Taste is Quite good for muslim chinese food but i feel the price is a little on the high side for the portion. Some of their small portion is rather small like for 1-2ppl.
Tried their assam fried fish (portion was big), buttered prawns 😋😋, fried tofu (tasted ok only) and sawi(very small portion).
Parking here is a killer but tht is normal in TTDI. Be prepared to walk & don't forget to put your parking ticket during the day as the officers are quite hardworking in issuing saman in this area.

Halal Chinese food are becoming more trend nowadays and this place really does deliver a very good taste.
Fish, duck, meat, chicken and many more to choose from and I do like their salted egg york eggplant. Very delicious.
This place is very suitable for families and large group to enjoy a whole meal together.
If you're not sure about the taste, just try their "Must Try" icon, rest assured, you will be amazed. I do like their dim sum though.
Went for our buka yesterday and all the dishes we ordered was amazingly sedap! We ordered wet butter chicken, egg yolk sotong, kangkung belacan and kerapu asam pedas! All was truly satisfying and will definitely come back again!!
Garlic steamed fish, butter prawn, sizzling squid - YUMSSS!!! Supern match! No matter how many times you went there, the taste stays the same! Marvellous!!!
Came here with friends for brief meeting. I've tasted their dessert, mango sogu lolo..it was fantastic! Fresh mango cuts with sogu and fine shred ice. Love it!
I know they pride themselves on the authentic-ness of their Chinese cuisine but truth be told, not too authentic. I've tried better Chinese food out there, albeit, not a proper Chinese Muslim one. But if you're comparing Homst to the other Chinese Muslim Restaurants, Homst is definitely the winner.
Food: Their butter prawn or squid is definitely a fav among my family. Lemon chicken, good but not great. Yam basket, nicer to eat at the shop itself. The Szechuan Soup, cheap but so so. And my favourite would be the duck. Omg for a Chinese place they really have bad tasting rice lol, the texture is ugh.
Service: They have lots of workers, very unsystematic tho, always so messy with the orders, messing up and forgetting orders. But since my mom frequents this place, they're totally nice to us.
A good place tho if you want proper HALAL Chinese food.
