Decent food, great ambience. Went there for a friend's birthday party, and everyone got really excited and satisfied. Service was good as well, and the main dishes are superb. A bit expensive though, but it definitely worth the budget. Corkage is a bit too pricey, but you know, drinks are more expensive at those kinds of restaurants. When I have special occasions, I'd like to visit again for my loved ones or special ones. Definitely worth trying. Take a look at the menu first, and choose whether to go or not. Will never regret it, though.
This place has one of the best steaks. Some might find it pricey but I find the price is what you pay for the quality you get. Go for tenderloins or ribeye, so good. Their sides are unbelievable as well. Food is 9/10 and the atmosphere is perfect for romantic nights.
We ordered the tenderloin steak and the Angus sirloin steak which were both really delicious! Perfect seasoning and was cooked how we wanted it. We ordered shoe-string fries on the side which complimented our meal because it wasn’t too heavy and we could still enjoy the main part of the meal which was the steak. Although the price was a bit on the higher side, I would definitely recommend it as it’s great value for money! Do not order water though, as they charge a ridiculous amount for that.
Make sure you reserve beforehand, it’s always packed on weekends. The upstairs area has a lot more privacy and not as busy as the downstairs area, but it’s quite dimly lit if you’re ok with that. Food was okay, slightly above average. The waiters were friendly and accommodating. Service was 10/10. Food 7/10. Overall I’d give it 8.5 out of 10. Great place for romantic dinners and celebrations with your loved ones.
Had 400g of grass fed steak, really good piece of meat. Their Big Boy Mac N Cheese was also awesome. Ril's will always be part of my dining list. Always head to the 2nd floor for romantic setting. Their live band; i thought she was Beyonce!
Food : Ordered a medium rare steak and it came exactly as i ordered; a rarity in malaysia as i always receive poorly cooked steaks. This was wonderful! Sides were roasted sweet taters and sauteed spinach. You cant really fuck up a bowl of spinach but you can the sweet taters. They were dry, tasteless, not even sweet(lol), and tasted as though they were prepared quite awhile ago. Wine is insanely overpriced but ohwell!
Service: the Philippino waiter could not understand our questions on different cuts and was not well versed with the steaks available. Even the manager couldn't answer our steak questions. Communication failed in that sense but service was great! Checked on our food and didn't charge us for the failed taters.
Would recommend for the steak!

I've been hearing many good things about Ril's and today I finally had the opportunity to experience it. So pros and cons starting with pros: good steaks, good cooking methods, mostly clean service, well-priced menu, comfortable ambience and decent drinks. Cons: lumpy mashed potatoes (and please don't tell me it's supposed to be that way cause it's not), inadequate information about the serving size of the sides causing us to over-order, and the marbling score of 6 on our wagyu seems inaccurate judging by texture and taste. Is it the best steak I have ever tasted? No. Would I recommend this place? Yes. Is it value for money? Hmmmmm...still thinking it over.
Amazing food. The truffle Mac and cheese is to die for. Get a 400gm steak for the low hundreds. Very affordable and value for money for the quality served. Great ambience and service too!
been here for couple of times, and gosh I LOVE THE STEAK and its TRUFFLE MAC AND CHEESE!! it looks like fine dining on the first floor but once you go upstairs, you won't feel like you're in Malaysia because it's like you're in a jazz bar or something like that. very recommended for family dinner or dinner date! love this place so much 😊
