This place serves probably the best Soup Dumplings and that's the only reason I've been there and I was surprised and excited at the same time right from the moment I've entered the place. The Dumplings were appetising enough and soup content was good and flavourful and soft skin of dumplings, as am a fan of Hot oil so lil hot oil on top and voilà 🤩👌
They have showcase of dumplings marking Which will make your mouth water and pull Your heart inside to have at least one case of dumplings 👌😋😋
We also tried the fried wontons and a dessert bao Which turned out to be fabulous!

Cannot count for how many times I went here. Place is great and clean. The best is their xiao long bao, really flavourful. I have tried plenty of their lamian menu, my best choice goes to the pork chop lamian also the spicy wanton lamian is good to try.
Quick service. Very clean food. And lots of options. One of my favourite places to dine in klcc. It's always busy, but service never suffers because of it. You can eat solo, a date, business or family style. And you can watch the staff prep the amazing dumplings if you're into that kind of thing.
Their Xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) are perfect. Carefully crafted, full of flavour and finesse. Probably the best dumplings I have ever had. Pricing and service is great too
Quick Service and delicious food. Xioa Long Baos (soup dim sums) are their signature dish, a definite must order. The mayo prawns, hot and sour noodle Sioux, sweet and sour chicken/ fish and schiuan pork are my other fav’s
Don’t panic with the long lines to be seated, as the place is very popular, however they clear out very quickly.

Excellent place and excellent food!! Was the best in terms of lunch with a varied taste. This unique chicken gravy made my day with a superb flavor of essence.
Finally we got to eat at the famous Taiwanese restaurant chain DIN TAI FUNG. A restaurant famous for its handcrafted and meticulously cooked dimsums.
We started with their bestseller XIAO LONG BAO (₹650 FOR 10PCS), a pork dimsums filled with soup. The dimsums are one of the best I've ever had, thin outer skin, perfectly cooked succulent pork and the soup carried the flavours of pork fat. SHRIMP AND EGG FRIED RICE (₹325) was perfect and you could get the flavours of eggs and spring onions. The shrimps were of good quality. STIR FRIED DOU MIOU WITH GARLIC (₹550) was a plate of blanched greens which were like a combination of sprouts and spinach. The KUNG PAO CHICKEN (₹750) and HOT & SOUR SOUP (₹280) were nothing great to write about.
So next time if you are in south east asia do check for the nearest DIN TAI FUNG and try their signature dimsums and fried rice.

Taste really awesome. Maybe pretty pricey for student but its really worth with what you paid. Staff is really friendly. I think they are understaff because it took pretty long time just for 3 meals.
I’ve always seen the long line ups and never cared to try the place, until recently. I must say the Service was great and food was phenomenal.
We had lunch at DTF in Pavilion and the food and experience were excellent. The food was better quality than another DTF that we have dined at and the price was less.
We enjoyed the Xiao Long Bau (of course!), Veg and Mushroom Dumplings, and Custard Buns are a must to finish off. The service is outstanding.
If u are in hurry and would like to enjoy some Chinese food with chilled beers . This place will serve you the best .

Ticking off another DTF outlet in KL. The menu is no different compared to the other outlets but I liked the Chicken Xiao Long Ba as it was more soupy and the chicken filling was much softer.
Stuck to my all time favourite; Hot and Sour Soup and this time tried it with a pinch of pepper. Just hot filling.
Tried the Minced Chicken in Bean Sauce Dry Noodle for the first time. The noodles are dry and soft but the overall dish is quite bland. Add the spicy sauce if you need more flavours.
Din Tai Fung is always a great experience and I will continue to explore other outlets in Cities that I visit.
We stopped here for Dim Sum on Sunday afternoon. The place was very busy, but the service was great. The Taiwanese Spring Roll (9.80) 4 pcs was excellent. Next we had the Shrimp Pork Dumplings 6pcs (14.30), and Pork Xio Long Bao 10 pcs (21.30), both were good.
Delicious as always. Noone can beat the juiciness and the flavor of the xiao long bao. Pork chop was also very juicy tender and flavorful. Noodle and wonton were yummy as always. House salad was still my number one favourite. Ordered a chocolate xiao long bao and it was delicious, it tasted like a nutella bomb!
I've tried multiple restaurant from this chain and this was better then the ones from Hong Kong or Singapore - also it is cheaper; -don't take any sweets or desert as they are not good;
This was an absolutely life-changing experience. The staff was amazing. I particularly loved the roselle and the crab roe and pork xiao long bao. The crab flavor was delicate yet complex. I just went yesterday and I’m debating going back again.
There is always a large queue at lunchtime at this restaurant chain due to its delicious soup wontons. All are served with its usual high standard. We did not enjoy one of their signature dish - the chicken in shiao shin wine. Their stir fry bean shoots are nice.

This is my first "Din Tai Fung" experience and it has been a great one, with out knowing much about this place. I saw this restaurant while exploring the Pavilion mall. It was huge and had crowds waiting outside and so I went to this place and the staff game me a menu card along with a pencil and asked me to select the dishes I wanted to have.
I wanted to try their different varieties and so I opted for its signature dish "Pork Xiao Long Bao" 6 pcs [14.20 RM], "Steamed Shrimp and Pork Shaomai" 6 pcs [19.70 RM] and "Spicy Shrimp Wantons" 6 pcs [14.90 RM]. All these dishes came in large steam baskets and they were delicious.
The best thing about this place are its staff as I did not know the proper way to eat Xiao Long Bao and they were kind enough to show me how its done. Also I liked the ambiance of this place and you can also see the chef's preparing dishes.
Arrived for the 11 am open. Rather chaotic at reception. When seated, the service was quick and courteous enough.
Everything was great! From the salted egg prawn, mushroom rice, tofu pork, garlic spinach. And of course the crab roe xiao long bao and shrimp/pork siomai. Only complaint was that the xiao long bao wasn’t served steaming hot.
Have dined DTF in Taipei, Singapore and Hong Kong. Food quality is next to Taipei and at par with Singapore.
I am a regular at this restaurant when I was working in Bukit Bintang area. Here's the list of my favourite dish: House steamed chicken soup, hot and sour noodle soup, shrimp fried rice and pork xiao long bau.

I’ve tried food in their Singapore outlet, it’s my first time in this one. The place is known to get so busy during prime hours. We were a bit early and were immediately ushered to a table for two. Normally this table is too small when you consider eating dim sums which are served in large steam baskets. However, in this restaurant, to accommodate more customers, which they do get plenty everyday, we have to adjust in the limited space. Staff are very promptly and highly knowledgable of what they serve.
Being a non pork eaters, the menu shrinks by large for us. Our order was for a set of chicken xiao long bao, shrimp fried rice which I fell in deep love in their MBS Singapore outlet, sweet and sour chicken, lemongrass lemonade for the husband and orange juice for me. We would have loved to have some red bean buns, but we were told they were sold out on that. The waitress suggested their famous golden custard egg bun which we accepted.
The food was generally delectable. Chicken xiao long bao was yummy. Thin sheet of outer skin and delicious chicken filling was satisfying. The prawn fried rice is my favourite from the previous experiences. It was delicious here too but couldn’t hold a candle to their Singapore branch. Sweet and sour chicken had a lovely balancing of both tastes and the chicken was crispy outside and tender inside. Golden custard egg bun was a winner too. Slightly sweet and once you take a bite, the yolk oozes out and it’s delicious.
Overall a lovely experience. About the price, it is well known that it is an expensive restaurant. The portions are too small for what’s charged. However, those who dine here all ready know and they seem to care less.
Omg!!! The long bao was too good and to top it all off the service was too fast. Just a little more English speaking service would be helpful.
The Xiao Long Baos are what you would want to go for, and their pork xiao long bao is dreamy, not to mention the truffle version. Ordering even two makes perfect sense, followed by a batch of egg custard buns.
Amazing chilli dumplings, melt in your mouth, highlight dish! Other food tasty and service quick. Had to wait a little while initially for the table but only because it's so popular.
Must order Xiao long bao. Soooooo delicious.
The rest of the dishes we ordered were good too, but make sure you get the Xiao long bao. We also had the spring rolls, which were amazing, but did I mention you need to order the Xiao long bao?

Great variety of dimsums, superb. Plus with the make your own sauce combination is amazing. The spicy wontons are out of this world. Love their guide to eat the dimsums, very nicely done. Service is quick and excellent. The lemongrass drink was refreshing and sublime.

Food is great. Xiu Long Bao here is a must.
The only downside was the wantan mee soup was quite bland. Other than that, everything was great.

Superb Taiwanese style dumplings and more. The place runs with factory efficiency and their food is absolutely top notch. Extremely well priced too, we tried a variety of their dim sums with a bit of broth in each one making them a bit different from the usual fare. We had their pork, prawn, a couple of their signature pork and truffle bao as well as the dried beef noodles. I had the hot sour soup which was very good too. Well worth a visit.
We had the chinese fried rice, spicy wantons, truffle chicken soup and the xiao long baos! It was really good and their fresh soy drink is refreshing. Service was good and food came out fast. Will definitely dine here again.

This time I tried for the first time their spicy wonton which unfortunately was not very spicy for my taste, actually a bit bland...
I love fried rice here as ingredients mixture is nice. Salty Egg Bun here is not big as Dragon-i. Yam Dumpling is tasty here. Black Paste Mini Bun not bad too.
Beyond doubt my favorite restaurant in KL! Even though is located in a mall, the quality of the food just makes you forget that. And the xiao long bao are the most divine thing in the world!
Delicious and fresh dumplings! Definitely must visit!! My partner and I come here at least twice every visit we make to Kuala Lumpur as the food is always great! Nice to see some new additions to the menu including the tofu, mushroom and egg fried rice. The only suggestion would be some more dumpling choices as they are too good to pass up and it would be great to have some more options. Highly recommended and can't wait to return again on our next trip to KL.

Din Tai Fung is one of the more popular Chinese restaurant Chain as they are available in quite a lot of other countries, and as they are known for their Xiao Long Bao of course we had to come here at least once for it.
I went here on a Saturday noon with a few other people, we had to wait for a bit as there were a couple other already on their waiting list; which was not surprising as they are pretty popular. As soon as we were seated we ordered the Pork Xiao Long Bao to share, and a few noodle dishes individually, I had the Spicy Shrimp & Pork Wonton Noodles.
The food took a reasonable time to arrive and I was really happy with the noodle that I had ordered, it was spicy and quite refreshing, and the dumpling was very good as well. The Xiao Long Bao was satisfying as well, we had to order another set to satisfy our Xiao Long Bao need, so that should explain how good they were.
The service was lovely and I had nothing to complain about. Overall, I had a wonderful experience in this Din Tai Fung chain and would look forward to going back.
This place serves delectable chinese dumpling fare. I love the jelly fish and xiao long baos here. The wait staff are very attentive and the food is of the best quality.
This was high on my list for our KL trip and it did not disappoint. Dumpling heaven. Staff are friendly and very efficient. You order on a sheet and dishes appear at your table sporadically. We tried a few including xiao long in pork, prawn and pork and vegie. All were delicious with perfectly thin wrappers. The custard bun wasn't to my liking as it's a liquid custard rather than a set custard. Would happily eat here again and try the noodle dishes next time.
We had very very very high hopes from this place. And it managed to almost live up to it. Don't get me wrong, it was awesome but I think we had over hyped it for ourselves.
We started with the spicy cucumber! Really good. Different but not as spicy as I thought. But a nice cool way to start the meal.
Then we ordered the XLB - the famous pork soup dumplings. Really really food. The best part about it was the eating style. You eat it in a soup spoon with one portion soya sauce and 3 portions vinegar with a few pieces of very very finely sliced ginger. Before you gulp all this down, you need to poke the dumpling allowing all the soup to mix with the rest of the stuff. Yum!!!
The skin of these dumplings is so thin, yet how does it hold that heavy soup! Amazing!

Was literally here yesterday morning for bfast! Have been here before and had to come back whislt we were in KL. just on the 6th floor of the pavilion, open from 11am for lunch. You can see the chefs at the window prepping for service at 10ish! We got there at 11.15am and it was already quite busy! No wait though..
We ordered 10 xiao long bao (mmmmmmm so juice) 2 truffle bao (real truffles which costed like $2-4 a pop i think? Cant remember haha! But they were soooooo yummy! Should have left to last because it was so flavoursome! Then we got thr crispy prawn wonton which was bite siZe and very tasty with the mayo and then a bow of dry noodles w steamed or was it boiled wonton? Not overly enthusiastic abt this dish, tasted like soy sauce noodles but the hubby loved it! Overall a delicious brunch! Think we paid about 100myr all up!? So much more delicious and cheaper the DTF in melbourne! :(

Love it! I think k tried pretty much everything on the menu, surely all the dim sum types. They are so delicious! As a main I love the beef noodle soup, so tasty and the meat is super soft. I go back again and again.
Really liked the food here and was spoilt for choice! Wanted to eat everything. Ate the soup dimsums (a first for me!) and they were nice and delicate. Also ate a vegetable noodle bowl, which was a bit bland for my liking, but the soup was hearty and comforting. Want to try one of the spicy dry noodle - wanton bowls the next time around.
