I love this place. It is one of the best Italian restaurants in all of Kuala Lumpur. We always come back for their risotto (the chefs specialty - you can’t miss it!)
Their pastas are absolutely fantastic and amazing. Full of flavour and fresh seafood. The trofie has the perfect spicy kick to it and the saffron squid ink seafood tagliatelle is 100% perfect. The saffron sauce pairs perfectly with the squid ink tagliatelle. A light yet creamy and aromatic sauce with a pinch of earthiness from the saffron ties it all together in the perfect pasta dish.
The bresaola pizza is my favourite. I love the generous amount of rocket leaves on top!
The tiramisu is perfect but I’d always opt to get more main courses and appetisers and skip on the dessert.

Friendly staff. Good quality rooms and room service. Their buffets are must try. Dinner buffet is heavily recommended. Special mention for the quality of the rooms and house keeping.
Service is good, we got complimentary birthday cake and table arrangement for our birthday celebration. Food was nice. It is a value for money. Ambience is good, felt like a princess over there 😊. Definitely will come again.
Best authentic italian food in KL. Worth visiting here. Food is delicious and presentation is marvelous. I have also tried Tiramisu and it's best among every other hotel i tried. The ambiance is also good. Definitely recommend this
I came to this restaurant from the review that I read in TripAdvisor. It was the best decision to choose this place with reasonable pricing at a luxury hotel.
Made a booking via the website, the reply was fast and easy. Told them to arrange a dessert for my bf’s birthday cake since is my bf’s birthday celebration.
The moment we reached, I saw balloon decorated. I ask the waitress, I didn’t arrange this but is this complimentary? She said yes.... I was like wow! What a great service.
For the food it was totally excellent and all are freshly made. We ordered Venetian pizza (seafood pizza) , the Porchini mushroom risotto served with duck foie gras (is a MUST to order) and Sardinian mixed seafood.
Price are very seasonable, service are excellent even the chef came out to greet each table and food are real good.
We really had a great time here. Definitely will be back again!

Favola in Italian means "fable" and here good food in authentic Italian style is no fable. Helmed by affable and talented Award winning Chef Domenico who is an Italian from Sardinia, good food in the Venetian style is de rigeur here. As The Travelling Gourmet TM, a celebrated Travel, Food and Wine Writer/Editor/International Wine Judge, I know many , many outstanding Chefs around the world...suffice it to say, I know a good Chef when I taste his food, capisch...For those connoisseurs who appreciate Italian cuisine, there is much to enjoy and savour...and for those who do not understand or appreciate 'al dente' for example, that can be arranged too...For as they say, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" nicht wahr...Let the feast begin!
Sardinian Seafood or Frutti de mare with Pingiadedda and Fregula is like the Italian answer to the provencal bouillabaisse with complex and satisfying flavours! Orecchiette pasta with shavings of Aged Pecorino (sheep) formaggio (cheese) and Broccoli and garnished with fresh basilico (basil) leaves is to assassinate the only fattie in north korea kim jong un for. I never say 'to die for' like many asinine writers because when one is dead one cannot enjoy anything, like the King of Fruits, the Durian...but I digress. Back to the yummie food...Salmone (salmon) and Sea Bass Carpaccio with Pine Nuts and Hawaiian Salt no less is an antipasto to parachute behind enemy lines on a covert mission in Syria for. Simple yet exquisite...So much food...so little time...Oh Madonna, Porcini Mushroom with Foie Gras lightly seared..yum yum!
DOLCI or desserts. Well, the good ol' favorite is Tiramisu which means in English, "pick me up" and was invented by a certain lady of a house of ill repute...which I shall not mention here...In Italia that I love so very much, many go for Zuppa Inglese and Macedonia but worldwide...Tiramisu is well loved. Located on the 8th floor of Le Meridien KL, Favola is quite famous for their Italian food. Went as a group of 4 and all their mains were above average but didn't manage to try their desserts or wine.
We started off with their complimentary bread platter served with 3 dips, the buns are all freshly baked - crispy on the outside but moist on the inside. Everyone loved the bread and they're great for soaking up all the pasta sauce. The spaghetti vongole had a generous amount of fresh clams and a delightful sauce. Their signature porcini mushroom risotto with pan-seared foie gras is a must order - the risotto is executed perfectly and every grain is infused with the flavour of the mushrooms and cream. Ravioli with mushrooms is simple but very flavourful - they used different kinds of meat but everything comes together in a unique flavour. Finally, the ossobuco was only average - the meat could have been a little more tender and the saffron risotto seemed to pale in comparison with their other signature porcini mushroom version. Overall their food and attentive service makes this an easy place to recommend if you're looking for quality Italian dining.
I love the ambience so romantic and cozy with lovely melody song, and all Italian foods here. My fav was Tiramisu Cake with Pistachios & Berry Topping! The topping was so great until I forgot actually its Tiramisu! The Salmon Bruschetta also delicious and fresh. I didnt try the Arrancini but a friend of mine said it was good also! So cheesy and delicious. Muat come again one day!
