bloom.jb is the latest addition to the cafe scene in Taman Mount Austin, Johor Bahru, brought to you by the people behind Mok Mok Brunch & Bistro. Our hearts are blooming with excitement and the moment we stepped in, as if a garden was brought in literally, with pretty flowers filling every corner of the cafe and hanging from the entire ceiling, creating an overhead garden. • Their menu is pretty similar with Mok Mok Brunch & Bistro, comprising of signature bowls, burgers, brunch and desserts. I like their commitment in sourcing for the freshest local produce and turning them into healthy and tasty farm-to-table meals. On the table we had their: 1. Australian Beef Tenderloin Rice Bowl (RM 39) - Grilled Australian beef tenderloin, onsen egg served over Bloom’s signature rice seasoned with furikake, shoyu and yuzu. Full of flavour and we are enjoying every mouthful of it. 2. Grilled Chicken Burger (RM 20) - Spiced chicken with pineapple, grilled capsicum, cheddar cheese, slaw, raita sauce in handmade brioche bun, served with onion chips or homemade potato wedges. Opt for their onion chips and you will know why! 3. Fried Calamari (RM 12) In general, this is a nice relaxing place to spend our afternoon, admiring the pretty blooms and enjoying great food. Definitely warrants another visit when we are back in JB again.

Vibes, food and services are not bad. But the only thing is if you're not yet getting prepared, please don't contact your customers who still have to wait for you to set up everything. It doesn't make sense you know.
