I'm happy that i did asked about will they make an extension for my farewell dinner or not. As i looking for a place where selling malay's food in the mean time a space for more than 10 pax. It takes me a few days to looking in tripadvisor again and again. At last, i've found this restaurant but they only open for lunch time, so that i decided to sent them a private message through Facebook page and luckily they replied my message and willing to lend me the place to hold my farewell dinner. I am truthfully happy and appreciate how they organised their time and decorate the place for me.
I am highly recommend this place because of their excellent service and their food! It's hard for me to choose between gado-gado and satay but i ordered gado-gado then swap with my friend. The peanut sauce was so AWESOME! I'm not lying, my friend she even asked for more sauce! Then for the main course i ordered soto, it's my 1st time ever to try this kind of food but i'm actually happy with it because it was great! Even my malay's friend she said awesome taste as well. The dessert i ordered pengat, by the time i was totally full...i only ate quarter of it but it taste really good it just that i'm feeling enough or else it would be much wasted if i throw out.
Their service is really great because i told them one of my friend is a vegetarian and so they even helped my friend to create a set for him.
Definitely worth visiting!

We found this restaurant while wandering around the streets of Georgetown.and we're happy that we did. They serve Southern Malay Cuisine. The ambience is good and the food is scrumptious! The staff and owner were so warm, friendly, helpful and attentive to your needs. If ever you'll visit Penang, make sure to eat at this place. :)
Kesum Art Restaurant is one of my favourite Malay cuisine restaurant for the spicy Assam Pedas fish. The sea bass is sweet and fresh. Overall the Johorean food is tasty with a unique taste. I love the pengat pisang which is sweet, creamy and addictive. If I can only eat three things off the menu, my vote goes to the succulent chunky Satay (chicken and beef), Laksa Johor, Botok Botok, Assam Pedas and Pengat Pisang. I know I can't count! But the food is gile best here.
