Went for the buffet lunch and it's totally worth it. Delicious foods and efficient service. Will go again definitely
The food is good and variety spaghetti options available for buffet...just need to wait long to get the food during weekends due to crowds but otherwise its good place for lunch and gathering.
The eat-all-you-can pasta lunch is really worth it! Paired up with a lakeside view. An enjoyable lunch indeed!!!! Great for family and friends 😊😊😊
The environment is pretty romantic at night , and is very chilly. This place is pretty special with the entrance located in the parking lot.
The pasta portion is very generous priced ranging at RM30-39. Seafood marina was so-so , nothing to shout about and almost tasteless. The soft shell crab fiery pasta is not bad ; the soft shell crab is pretty good. For the shrimp pesto pasta , it was pretty good with 4 fresh large shrimps.
Great place, great staff with great view. However food can be improved. I ordered the corn and crab soup for appetizer and Neptune's fortune. The soup is so watery, literally crab flavoured water with corn kernel. Their crawfish and few shell fish on my pasta was not fresh, it was frozen, gamey a tasteless. My friends lamb chop however was great.
Great Service! the waiters were delightfully accomodating and friendly. Many different and fun flavours to choose from for the all you can eat pasta buffet, though the portions were quite small. Altogether, we ordered approximately 5 plates of pasta for each person. The indoor decor was cozy and quaint, sitting on the outside dining area was a little warm but the view of the lake was worth it.
I ordered a traditional bolognese and I'm not impressed. A bit too salty and the meatballs were overcooked. But my girlfriend seemed to enjoy the rice (forgot the name). Big potion definitely. Cool and sweet surroundings (facing the lake).
Finding this place is like finding a hole in the wall. I mean like, hardly anybody has come here and like it's so secluded away.
I get the feeling that they actually had two wings cause right up front there was actually another restaurant with the same moniker and everything. But it was closed and boarded up.
The free ice lemon tea is horrid.
They gave me pasta on the house tho. The smoked duck was overpowered by the spice on the pasta.
Fries are amazing. I ordered the chilli beef bacon and fries. Hope my tongue doesn't die tho .
It was pretty good though.
My main entrée came. It doesn't look good right off the bat cause, there's something missing;
Lemon.
Searched the whole plate and not a single lemon.
Let's taste it.
Pretty good. Batter nice and crunchy. You can taste the seasoning, the salt pepper. I guess it didn't need the lemon after all.
Overall I think it still deserves the 3.5.
If nothing else, for the atmosphere. Cause for a hole in the wall, it was pretty full
Secret of Louisiana is definitely one of my favorite restaurants! Great environment, great ambiance! Perfect for special occasions! Also, the food here never fails me.
Went there on a beautiful evening. Love the view. Enjoyed watching the sunset while having dinner. I tried the Neptune's something seafood platter. It was enough for 2. Comes with crawfish, shrimps, scallops, mussels, oysters and fish on top of a bed of spaghetti. Food was good but definitely the main reason i would be back is for the view.
