Excellent place! Really loved how the food is cooked and served, I believe there is a great chef behind every successful dish ;) Great ambience and mood if you are here to study or do your work. Moreover, I can feel the coffee is served with every ounce of love and sweat when it enters your mouth. Me and my sister came about the other day after a day's of tired work looking for a nice meal to enjoy while still eating healthy. It's just so hard to find paleo food
We ordered the tofu salad and grill chicken with rosemary and black sesame Vers. We kept commenting how amazing the taste was, the chicken was not dry, the herbs made it Soo appetizing and the salad combi was exquisite!
Will come again to try the breakfast menu

The only thing about this place that surpassed my expectations, was its name. The food was a huge disappointment. I had read such great things about the place. Wedges as the side dish itself that was served was burnt. The fries that I got with my burger - the oil soaked ones (ones that have been refried) and they were the short ended fries (you get them from the bottom of the frozen bag of chips). The bun from the mushroom melt burger was dry. Spent RM100+ for dinner for two. For that kind of money (well, any kind of money.. really), I would be embarrassed to put meals like that out for my customers. Sadly, I could have taken that and spent it elsewhere with better service and way much better food. Would NEVER return.
My 9 years old son gives thumps up for the chicken burger, my 12 years old son slurp the chicken ramen up, my 14 years old daughter was stuffed, my husband & I couldn't be more happier. Not easy find a place that offers the variety of food that can satisfy our family of five. All I can say good food, great ambient and overall Awesome experience la!
I had my son's birthday celebration 2 weeks ago and the service was awesome! Beautiful set up and delicious food. I was surprised that they even went extra mile in showing me the mock set up of the place (dessert table) before the actual day to get my opinion. Provided me with free drinks when I was paying the balance of my bill and Dora (the event manager) was flexible in trying to accommodate my request. Definitely recommend anyone who wants to do birthday party :)
I have been here few times during pregnancy because they serve the yummiest big breakfast and I guess the little one inside loves it too!
Then we had our baby's 100th day celebration right in Awesome Canteen and everything was just AWESOME. The venue, the service provided, the decor, the food.. the guests were amazed with this place we chose!

The food here are awesome especially the paleo section of the menu, ordered paleo grilled chicken breast and I’m in love of the sides of veggies that comes with the dish. Refreshing, crunchy and doesn’t need to add more salad dressing since it is SO good on its own. The gyoza is mouthwatering good and fried baby prawns is also delicious

Love the healthy menu options that Awesome Canteen offers. And they clearly shows that being healthy doesn't mean you can't enjoy yummylicious food. If it's not because of the limited parking space at the area, I would visit it more often 😁
Ordered paleo chicken burger and mushroom swiss cheese melt beef burger. Expected too much on the paleo chicken burger so it was just meh for me, nothing special about it except the chicken patty which was juicy. Beef burger was good.
Awesome Canteen has one of the best burgers I ever had! The Mushroom Swiss Cheese Burger is a must try. The Carbonara Spagetti is pretty good too. Will definitely come again ;)
Butter fish, sweet potato wedges and the sauce from the paleo menu was very good and the starfruit drink was very refreshing ! i will come back again :D

This cafe has a very hipster-ish setting. The menu offers japanese fusion foods (at least that's my favourite) and other Western varieties and for those who like to have a healthy meal, they also have the Paleo diet available. My main course consisted of the Salmon Sashimi Don (super fresh salmon) and was followed by the awesome pineapple cheese cake for dessert. I had a pleasant dining experience with attentive service, friendly owners and not forgetting, one of the best coffees ever!
Feeling awesome today, we decided to try this new place at Taman Paramount, Sea Park called Awesome Canteen. This place is started by a group of awesome people from a design agency in Kuala Lumpur. The furniture inside here are mostly recycled materials and there are a lot of old and classic stuff.

Came by just to check why Awesome Canteen is sort of spoken about by other foodies/bloggers. A creative and comfortable ambiance, I didn't look through the menu as I wanted to try out their cakes. I packed the pineapple cheesecake and red velvet cake and back home, cheesecake totally saluted but the red velvet, I don't know what to say.
The cafe attracts a large CrossFit community in PJ because of its paleo menu. A classic – 240 beef patty (RM26.90) with onions and sautéed vegetables. Good for heavy meat-eaters and definitely juicy in every bite. All beef used here are grass-fed as the paleo diet doesn’t believe in grains.
