Food was excellen!! Service was just right, the green tea was bottomless but not diluted.
The curries are to die for, a must try if you are looking for a very near Japanese taste curry.
The food is fresh and tasty! The price is reasonable highly recommend the Aigamo Rousuni (marinated duck breast)! Will come back here again! Keep up the good work!
Simple set up but yummylicious food. Situated at residential area, a hidden gem. Kudos to huancheng !
3rd time came here. chef cook the meal one by one . worth for waiting.
Best curry ... best environment. ... best atmosphere
This Japanese Curry Rice is one of the best in town and not so pricey. Service is good and there is free flow of hot or cold green tea.
The japanese curry so nice~ the portion is big, more than enough to fill my stomach.
Tonkatsu curry rice is real good. Portion just right. Loved the deep fried ebi (prawns) too. Overall price is reasonable. Will surely be back.
Nice food, nice environment, nice people! My favorite restaurant!
Food was amazing and very reasonably priced!
My second visit and turned out be better than even the first one. Ordered torikatsu curry nice and mix veg udon and both were awesome. Caramel pudding was out of the world :)
Delicious Japanese curry rice and fresh sashimi salmon. I have been a few times already there and their quality is always consistent which is good. Environment is also good. Just beware parking could be an issue as there are many Chinese restaurants nearby but you can park at Giant supermarket which is just opposite
Been there second times for japanese curry sets & also their udon. Curry is abit less spicy last night but can top up ourself with the curry powder which bring in another different level of taste. Pork cutlet is abit dry but fried pork & chicken curry are ok. The udon soup is very nice. Onsen egg & omelette is in good shape. Price is aligned with the food. Portion are ok. Staffs very helpful and friendly. Will try out their onokomoyaki next time.
To improve on deep fried skill.
A faint sweet curry flavour slips out the door once we pass by, this is the right feelings to describe how we stumble on “Shokudo” Japanese Curry Rice the true hidden gem around Taman Paramount, Petaling Jaya. . Shokudo Japanese Curry Rice runs their business in a traditional way which resembles the “Canteen” look-alike in Japan. Simple decoration comes with a friendly environment; everyone able to share a long table with strangers and chats to the heart content without any restrictions (just like the old days in primary school).
Nice environment with Japanese style of interior design. A very comfortable place for big group gathering. Food is tasty and definitely would come back again as well recommend to my friends. Price is aligned with food quality given. Noodle type portion might be small to big eater, recommend to take curry rice if you are a big eater. Drinks are self service and refillable.
Been here several times and always enjoyed their food! Haven't been there enough to try everything on the menu, but everything I've had so far has been great and I hope the quality keeps up!
Shokudo Japanese Curry Rice at Taman Paramount, Seapark, Petaling Jaya is a newly opened restaurant. It is located on the same row as Awesome Canteen and Loong Foong Restaurant with the nice roast duck. We noticed this Japanese restaurant when we went to eat our dinner at Hometown Clay Pot Chicken Rice. Since it is my birthday, so we came here to celebrate. Shokudo Japanese Curry Rice sells rice and udon dishes with Japanese curry only. All dishes come with curry, so if you are a curry lover, do come and try their Japanese curry. There are no sushi or other Japanese main dish available. For the curry rice, there are pork, chicken, prawn (ebi), cream croquette and vegetables to choose from. You can order ala carte or set by adding RM 3 for soup, ocha (Japanese green tea) and salad.
