By far the best ramen in KL/PJ vicinity. No other came close - tried a on a few which was said to serve good ramen but they were nothing close. Highly recommended!
Absolutely love their lemon tonkotsu ramen! Imo, best ramen in town.
My favourite Ramen place since they first opened at Jaya One. The most worthy ramen I have tasted around KL. Normally restaurants will charge a bomb for this authentic taste. I have to get my fix every month. Never disppoints.
So far the best ramen place I have ever tasted! The noodles are Q and bouncy, broth is thick and extremely flavourful. Highly recommend the black garlic broth with pork and egg (done to perfection).
Opened by the former chef of Kamikaze, the best pork ramen in the world has now come to Menya Shi Shi Do! Ramen lovers would be thrilled if the signature thick broth is served again and pork belly available as an ala carte add-on. The soft yolk of the hardboiled egg oozes with goodness as you pry it with your chopsticks and the soaked chewy ramen makes you crave for the next bowl, space permitting! A must-have any day!
The best ramen I have tasted in town, must try it if you're ramen lover, excellent👍🏻
Soup are flavorful and the shop itself is nice and cozy! Will definitely come here again!
P/s: do order the chicken skin and squid along with your ramen!
First try and super nice super suitable my taste ~ especially the soup
We have finally found a ramen place that is generous with their portions, has extremely tasty broth, good service and fair prices. Finally!!!!!! Thank you for the lovely experience!
One of the more authentic ramen house in pj area. You won't regret eating here.
nice soup and noodle (; nice environment as well. is definitely a good choice for Ramen!
Been here twice as it was near to me & affordable go-to ramen. Both times I had black garlic broth and it was good. The ramen is well cooked - springy. Both times the eggs seemed to be overcooked, not the gooey kind. The pork shoulder had that porky smell/taste but seems to be the case for other ramen shops too - so it might just be my preference. The first time we came, there was a queue & was told to wait 40 mins but turns out only 20 mins. Apparently it was advertised on a food FB page, hence the crowd. Second time, got the table in less than 10 mins. Food served was quick.
I would say it's one of the better ramen places in PJ bc there are barely any good ones in the area. My favourite is the Kuro Yaki Buta (?) ramen, if that's the name of it. black garlic infused broth w the yaki buta pork which is a thicker cut compared to the normal pork shoulder.
My only problem w the place is the unfriendly service and the overdone eggs. The waitresses looked very unwelcoming, I can't say all the time cause i'm not there all the time, but when I was there it was pretty bad. Of the few times I've been there, the eggs have been overdone. The yolk is supposed to be runny but it's always cooked.
Other than that, price and quality of the food you get is pretty alright so I'll definitely come back.
I have been to many other ramen shops in town including Ipp*do, Menya M*sash*, Hokkaid*, Bari Um*, et cetera but none of them can compete with Menya Shi Shi Do in terms of price, portion and taste. The ramen used is just nice for me, firm and springy with no weird aftertaste that noodles tend to leave sometimes. The broth is to die for, super rich and flavourful and full of wholesome porky goodness but not oily and greasy like some of the broth of other ramen shops. Price is really reasonable and cheaper compared to the aforementioned ramen shops.
This is one of the better ramen shops around town. Ex chef of the famed Ramen-ya at Plaza Mont Kiara's Kamikaze.
Thick rich tonkatsu style broth, with salty overtone. My favorite is the Shiro flavours. Other flavored soup I enjoy as well would be the Aka (Spicy) and Midori (Basil). Only thing is the noodle is not as good as the ones in Japan. The broth is pretty close though.
I'd come back again and again when I need a warn pick me up.
They serve very big portion ramen. Do come during lunch hour for their set meal which is priced reasonably. Cheaper than certain ramen restaurants like I***DO Ramen, their ramen quality is maintained properly and delicious. On a side note, they have double flavours where you can mix soup flavours at an additional price which is worth a try. You'd be so amazed at the blend of taste!
Put your hands up if you are not a fan of Ramen? Ramen shop is slowly gaining its momentum on opening around Klang Valley. One of the latest addition is Menya Shi-Shi D0 which operate in my working place. Located at Level P2 which is directly next to Boat Noodle is slowly gaining its popularity with many customers.

Located at Level P2 which is directly next to Boat Noodle is slowly gaining its popularity with many customers. For the price we are paying, the set back is portion is quite small as compare to many others out there. When I am lazy and craving for ramen, this is one of the outlet I turn to.
