Had a great time there. for the price, it's definitely a good place to come back again. left out a star because of the waiting time, other than that it was superb.
I've visited this place with my friends for our travelogue assignment with the theme of inexpensive food. It's worth trying out because the spaghetti was only RM5!
Tastewise, pretty ok. Price? CHEAP AF! Worth going/trying? 👌 Ambience is good, service is efficient, recommended for people looking for pasta at an affordable price 😀.
👍Food: Pesto lamb, Fried laksa lamb ETC nice.
Creme Brulee also nice!
French Fries also nice but portion so small.
Mac & Cheese also not bad.
Brownies with ice cream also not bad.
👍$$$: Reasonable as the portion quite Small.
👍Service: Always packed. But cashier friendly.
✔ Will go back again!
I really love to go here whenever I crave for some carbonara! It is really good especially when I add up some chili flakes. Their chicken wings are also yummy! Very recommended since their price is also affordable
Location: 3/5 (hard to drive there and find parking)
Price-Serving Size: 4/5 (VERY affordable + serving size for one person on diet)
Taste: 4/5 (Great enough to satisfy your cravings, RECOMMENDED: SPAGHETTI, don't go for omelette, too small)
Ambience: 3/5 (simple not fancy cafe or restaurant? Suitable for yamcha and chitchat place if not crowded).
I'm not type of pasta food, but my first time been here im so in love with the aglio olio lamb..and for 2nd time been here order the same thing for double order. recommended !!!
I highly recommend pesto or aglio olio lamb or beef. The brownie ice cream is damn good! Must have!
Price is ridiculously cheap but small portion. You need to add an omelet to your pasta. Always crowded here. Impossible to get a table at 8pm.
Parking is terrible.
If you are on a budget but would still love yourself some good (not extraordinary but on par with price) western food, this is the place for you. Most of the pasta are only RM5 and you can choose they type of protein to go with it which are chicken, beef, and lamb. The pesto and laksa goreng are among my favourite dishes here. 3 words to describe humble chef: fast, cheap and tasty!
Macaroni cheese is the best here!! It's cost rm10. Their spaghetti only rm5! Their staffs are friendly and really really helpful. But they are only guy. Doesn't have waitress.
View kedai cantik & nice untk lepak santai. Layanan baik. Makan sedap, potion berpatutan dgn hrga. Rasa tak ckup beli lah byk sikit, murah je tu.
Good food, low prices. Especially if you like spaghetti/pasta. Simple menu and popular with locals. Kind of like a western styled mamak. Worth a try, casual atmosphere
Always come here for lunch, and can be crowded sometimes. Really like lamb carbonara, chicken omelette (has cheese inside), the mac and cheese is to die for!!!! And pocket friendly (per plate is only rm5) with generous portion!
Are you a laksa fan? Or are you a mee goreng fan? And are you having trouble deciding on which one you should get?
Why not both?!😁 yes at humble chef they serve laksa goreng, imagine the spiciness of your usual mee goreng mamak with a softer and springier texture voilá! You get laksa goreng👌🏻
The come in 3 variations, chicken, lamb, and beef. Me and my Emi agreed that the lamb was definitely for the win. The price, at first I couldn't believe my eyes, in total that day it cost us RM30 for 2. But be sure to come early or be prepared to endure being in line 😩.
If not careful, one could overspend here, and overeat. Relatively cheap price for pretty good food. 5 ringgit for Cabonara prawn? It's a good deal. Lamb chop (with spaghetti) was also pretty good albeit slightly salty. Can't decide which dessert to get? Why not all three? Cause its cheap.
The pastas are approprately size for what you pay. Nothing amazing about the taste just your simple everyday pasta. Also tried the pesto chicken pasta which was disappointing but manage to salvage it by adding some spicy sauce
My personal favourite. Tried almost everything in their menu and never disappoints ! Good food with reasonable price, the portion makes you crave for more.
If you want cheap and tasty food, this is the definite place for you. I usually come here for their lamb chop spaghetti, which in my opinion for RM20 is cheap and super delicious. They've recently started adding chicken wings, they are nice but it would have been better if they are actually crispier. Their desserts to me are decent, nothing to brag about. The only thing I hate about this place is the fact that sometimes they close without notice, making it impossible to know exactly when they are open.
Great place. I love this place. The food's delicious and very cheap (cheapest pasta in KL maybe?). Like this the only place where you can order 3 kinds of pasta for under rm20. The menu's pretty limited, but the stuff they serve is delicious and really worth your money. Honestly you can't stop at one dish really, you will probably order a few times (like i did!) but you won' t even care because it doesn't cost much and its friggin' delicious.
The shop is pretty nice too. Simple deco, but filled with paintings. I think you can actually buy the art. This place is always packed tho, so you might not get a table everytime. Overall, really nice. 😄😄😄
The problem with this place is you cannot stop at 1 dish. The food is tasty especially the Pesto sauce. Ultimately once spends about RM 15 per person. Nevertheless, the food is so good. Maybe having limited items helps in becoming experts in making them.
In total, we spent RM22! Yes! A cheap and full dinner on last Saturday. Where can you find a place to eat so many different things but only cost you RM22? I salute Humble Chef. In this century, all things are increasing their prices,
but I never see Humble Chef did. I ate this from my first year in HELP till I have graduated now, they still remain the price with the same portion. Sometimes, I think they give more.
