Broke fast here. The iftar set menu selection is quite decent. What made the experience more wonderful was the friendly staff. I selected the tomato soup and grilled peri peri chicken for starter and main course respectively. Love both. The iftar set is reasonably priced at RM49. Awesome!!
Pan Mee Impasta is too spicy as using sambal, My Name is Sam taste nice as with Green Egg,Salmon, Avocado and bread. Golden Butter Cream Prawn is actually salted egg pasta which is nice. Salted Egg Fries is separated from the sauce.
Plan b is a regular hang out for me simply because they consistently meet my expectations.. good menu variety especially for breakfast and mains. Love the kiss me I'm French and truffle fries.. coffee is also very good, Australian ice coffee is lovely. Misses- I didn't really enjoy the Asian aglio olio as although it was very spicy, it lacked flavor and the teh tarik tiramisu didn't hit the spot as well, felt that it was more of a teh tarik cake rather than an infusion of teh tarik and mascarpone cheese.. otherwise it's a lovely place to chill with a buddy n have good food
When plan A fails, try Plan B- and I mean literally a restaurant labeling themselves as Plan B. Its a creative urban gourmet restaurant that offers asian, new American and Australian cafe cuisine paired with the stunning decor of chic and modern- which creates an ultimate spot for get togethers, dessert getaways or even parties.
Plan B is designed for pleasure, dining and experience; this isn't their only location, there is 8 located all around the Klang Valley, but each has a unique decor and experience, including this one. There isn't a signature dish on their menu, but I would highly recommend their succulent gourmet burgers and beguiling desserts
My experience so far has been positive with this location. The restaurant offers an indoor and outdoor dining experience. A dark amber water bottle is signature to this establishment, and is seen on every occupied table including mine. Their decor is simply stunning, especially as I look up, an arrangement of chairs stuck to the wall seemingly unaffected by gravity or as I call it looks like 'a demonic possession' has taken over.
Not everything on their menu will blow your mind- I personally think everyone has their own preference of what is good here. My personal favorite is the chargrilled cheeseburger, served with salad and fries for RM 33. I requested a medium rare, and it was definitely brought that way. Perfectly juicy thick beef patties, nicely seasoned too if I may add. Sandwiched in between a soft brioche bun, and compliment with fresh lettuce, cheddar cheese and perfectly crispy onion fritter. The burger is perfect, however I would prefer it, of they had steak fries instead of the show string fries, but thats just my preference.
Its located within the publika mall, therefore parking is not exactly difficult, since there is a parking garage located within the shopping mall. If one improvement could be made, it would be with their wait staff, which lacks being friendly and attentive- almost glum in my opinion. However the wait staff did get the food promptly and did not make any mistake so great job there. I also would love to see the manager being present and maybe visiting the tables to gather feedback, this is still lacking here. If not I think this place is definitely an above average place to have a meal and relax with friends and family.
Dessert dessert dessert! All desserts are lovely here! My favorite is the flourless chocolate cake. I crave for that "not so thick-not so thin" chocolate, everytime I visit KL.
Unfortunately, they dont usually have this in the counter. So just take the brownies with ice cream instead. Its also delicious. I like the interior and the waiters always welcome us with smile. One of my fav hangout place. Keep up the good work!
