I tried pretty much everything here, but my favourites are seabass vierge and the waffles - yummo! Staff are all friendly, and the place is also neat and clean. It also offers you better privacy because it’s not that busy even on weekdays. An ideal place to explore good foods and beverages with your family / friends or just by yourself. You can order the foods via ubereats app as well if you live nearby!
The waffles are the best I had in Malaysia. It is very light and you can customise your own the way you want! I did not like the coffee so much, it was a bit too bitter for my taste. The service of the staff is quite good.
Smoked Duck with Chia Seeds Waffle & Roasted Sweet Potatoes came with thick slices of tasty duck. This plate is meant for sharing I believe. Otherwise you might be overwhelmed by the generous portion of duck! The Spaghetti with Prawns was flavourful. Prawns were nicely grilled and fresh. Latte was superb!
Came here on a saturday for brunch. Fortunately, I was able to get a place to park as there were limited space. Restaurant wasn't packed. Oh well, longing for the chicken waffles for some time already. Tried the chicken cobb and chicken (fried) & waffle. Both were quite decent but not too much of a surprise. May come back to try other dishes or the dessert. Still, pleasant environment and service.
Good food, reasonable price, good service, good environment . Just that i personaly think the table for two is a little too small and not enough space to put my stuff on the table. Overall, im very satisfied and happy to visit here again next time. Would definitely recommend to my friends.
Good food, good service and good ambience. What more would you want for a place like this?! I had a Chipotle Mac and Cheese Burger with Melting Moments for dessert. Both meals are delicious and making my taste buds tingle. They serve at decent speed, and the waiters are prompt to your needs. Not a lot of people there so you can expect the place to be quiet. Would definitely come back here again to eat other dishes.
The fish was good, surprisingly good I would say this place is better at this than the waffles it pushes heavily as it's "thing".
Would recommend it for seafood lunch or dinner but wouldn't for a waffle breakfast or lunch.

I had the new Quack Quack. Nicely smoked duck but I didn’t quite like butter sauce. I asked for maple syrup for my waffles.

Banana waffle boat, I would highly praise and promote, With Chocolate, Vanilla and Raspberry ice cream, you are an absolute dream. At 1st bite, you made our eyes gleam, no doubt this dessert is supreme.
Waffle haven, you must hasten, sweet or savoury right in TTDI's neighbourly. Mango shrimp wrap, so good it will make you clap. Tropic coconut dessert, flavours in your mouth delightfully flirts.
Chocolate fudge cake, I did a double take. So, delightful, you had me at first taste, did not even care that it will end up in my waist!

Waffles - A must to order at this place... crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside.... the pasta and desserts here are so-so... drinks - no comment
If Belgium waffles are what you're looking for, this is close to what you can get! And this place keeps improving it's dishes to cater to the different cravings. Great environment as well.
A good place to hangout with family and friends. If you like all things waffle, this is the place to be. I like all things waffle, so i enjoyed my dinner here. Fun and creative on the menu too.
班尼迪克蛋一上桌，两颗滑溜的水煮蛋立刻吸引我们的目光！淋上荷兰酱的水煮蛋，金黄色的外层一度被误以为是榴莲肉呢！让人垂涎欲滴的蛋黄缓缓的流出，跟香浓的荷兰酱结合在一起，并渗入华尔夫饼内。叉起一小块培根和华尔夫饼～啊呀喂呀～好吃到五官都会情不自禁的缩了一下～
沙朗牛肉华夫汉堡包有别于一般的汉堡包，即使我们已经品尝了几道菜色，酸甜的莓果酱，加上沙朗牛肉在口中化开的肉汁，吃起来不止不油腻，混合着牛肉香和起司香的独特风味，加上华尔夫外脆内软的口感，两者相结合之下让人吃得胃口大开。
Overall I’m very satisfied with Chequers, be it their environment or their food. I simply cannot think of any flaws they have at the moment (except the potatoes but it was highlighted to Michelle :)). It may look quite pricey for middle-class people like me. Nevertheless, you can always save some bucks if you bring a group of friends with you, as their meals are quite large portion.
I'm a meat person, hence it caught my eye when I glanced at Chequers' menu this really nice looking Crusted Lamb Rack picture. Needless to say, we ordered it, and it did not disappoint. Pan seared to perfection, the lamb rack had these very nice crust, served with mashed herb potatoes, roasted baby carrots, with lots of honey grain mustard sauce at the side. Love how tender the lamb rack turned out, albeit they had to do it medium rather than well to preserve the juiciness.
Classic pancake, can find nothing to complain. Moo Moo is satisfying, big portion, waffles with beef patty, cheese, veges and crispy bacon. The only thing is the combination of Moo Moo is a bit dry and need more dressing sauce to perfect the dish.
Though their specialty is waffles, I wasn’t in the mood for that. But had to try their waffle fries (because I have a weakness for fries). Since I was, however, in the mood for pasta (I am always in the mood for pasta), I tried out the carbonara and have to admit it was decent enough that I would order it again the next time I pay a visit to Chequers.
Parking here is HORRENDOUS but I had to meet a client here. Walking into the cafe, you will see a spiraling staircase right smack at the centre. So Chequers is known for their waffle dishes, which was what the waiters were promoting to me when I asked "What is nice here?" There's also a buy 2 free 1 offer when you dine here on weekdays. I went for the Portobello Mushroom waffles as I am vegetarian. Surprisingly, I really loved it! The best part about this dish in that you can find bits and pieces of spinach in the waffles itself!
