Celebrated husband’s birthday lunch here. Very helpful staffs to arrange. Too many in the menu wanted to try, ended up over ordered. We enjoyed eating there.
really good food and really attentive staff, amazing service! the vegetarian yee sang is the best i've tasted, along with being reasonably priced, it comes in a big portion even having ordered small. would 10/10 recommend for cny celebrations.
Have a good time with my colleagues here. The environment is nice and cosy.
Ordered some of their specialty, the nasi lemak Sushi, chicken rice sushi. A must try dishes, where they convert from a regular Sushi to something special.
After that, try their pagoda duck. And yingyang noodle. They converted a normal dish into something extraordinary and tasty. Worth eating with the amount that you pay.
Definitely is an awesome place to dine in. Attentive crews make you feel warm when ordering food and eating.
Food are nice yet fine. Authentic Asian.
High recommend to you for dine in if any celebration.
I particularly loved the fact that the staff was very attentive towards my 3 yo daughter, making sure her seat was comfortable, furnishing her with children's cutlery and warm water even before we asked for it, even gave complimentary juice. Special thanks to Angel, and manager Fazlee Yunus for complimentary (also) birthday dessert and music for my mom's birthday. Staff and service on point. Keep up the good work. Food is as exciting as the ambience. Highly recommended 👍
Halal dimsum... Served very beautifully but unfortunately they have really limited choices. Crab curry rice is a fusion of Chinese and Thai I believe, is one of the must order! Prawn and eggplant sushi is very refreshing. Prawn mango roll cream is very good - lightly crisp outside, balanced mayo and prawns inside and out.
I did not think the appetisers was worth it - it was served without us ordering and automatically charged which is so wrong. RM6 for the pathetic rice crackers and 5 sour tomatoes and they did not taste great. Hainanese chicken was a letdown too - two pieces of deep fried chicken and that's it.
Overhyped Malaysian-inspired sushis are beautiful, but did not think it was worth it. But you've got to try at least once...
The perfect setting for birthdays and special occasions, Ruyi & Lyn’s modern twist on fusion fare is a quick favourite for the Gen-Y crowd looking to impress their friends. It’s classy, the food lives up to the high standards that is carried across the Oriental Restaurant Group and of course, it’s got the Instagram factor. Guests are treated to pickled radish and tomatoes for starters.
Admittedly, Ruyi & Lyn is not the cheapest restaurant around. But for those looking for a new culinary experience and memories that will be cherished for a long time, then you don’t need to look any further. The restaurant presents more than just Instagram-worthy dishes. Each of them is a delectable play of Asian flavors.
Quality food, interesting concept. Service was good. Portion is pretty big. Should go in a bigger group to sample the many interesting dishes.
Terrific setting, modern fusion twist on Chinese food. Impressive presentation. Portions may be small because of fine dining-esque experience but you'd be surprised how full you'll get after tasting a little bit of every dish. Every dish is spectacular both in aesthetic and taste. 10/10 would recommend ordering the Ruyi's sushi which seems to be a hot favourite. Must try the Pokemon's prawns and also the Shanghai lasagna. Would be most enjoyable in groups of 4-6 as you can try more dishes without breaking the bank too much. Good place for an all-rounder meal for celebrations and special occasions. Make a reservation so you won't be disappointed.
Eventhough I found that Ruyi & Lyn is slightly confused with the concept of their establishment, but one thing they do not need to worry about is their high quality of food. Triple thumbs up! (if I have 3 thumbs)
