A friend of me ask me to try this restaurant in Nu Sentral while a was transit on my way to KLCC. He said that the nasi lemak is the best. I haven't had a chance to visit the one in Petaling Jaya and Kampong Baru but I think the Nasi Lemak of Nyonya Colors is very very sedap.
I tried the followings :
Nasi Lemak beef rendang (5/5)
Nasi Lemak Chicken (4/5)
Laksa (5/5)
Teh Tarik (5/5)
The teh tarik is also worth to try. Not too sweet and not too creamy. It is also Halal as they stated when I asked them regarding Halal Food.
For those who comes from abroad and only had a very limited time visiting KL, shall try this one. The location is at 3rd floor of Nu Sentral which is in the same venue as the KL Sentral station. As you know that KL Sentral Station is the intersection to all station and train across Kuala Lumpur.
Dry curry mee. 😊
First try curry mee here and it tastes good.
Gotta be there before 12.15pm if you wish to have lunch here during weekdays. There's always a crowd..
Food: The Cendol and ABC is very tasty. The taste of sugar is perfect; not too sweet. The Laksa is very tasty and I can say up to the standard laksa taste but, a little bot hot for those who can’t handle spicy food very well.
Ambiance: The place is well decorated with traditional theme. Not so crowded and suitable for casual meetings and tea-time spot. Spent some time here while waiting for the train to clear up during get-off work hours.
Service: Friendly staff but the table and sitting area is not very well maintained and not so clean but afraid not to request for them to wipe the table again
Good food, though I suspect they had slightly a bit more taste enhancer (we were a bit too thirsty soon after dinner). The waiters/waitresses are very responsive. Resolved our concern when we mistook a piece of squid to be a dead fly.
The service is ok, but the seating arrangements are bad. The foods are affordable and good.
Nyonya colors has a lot of branch in KL, but this one is the nearest from our place. I am so happy when they open a branch at NU Sentral.
Expect a queue if coming during lunch or dinner time.
Traditional range food that they offer, their lemak bungkus and mee siam are delicious.
Bigger meals also served here.
Love the bubur chacha that only available fri - sun. Their traditional cake also nice.
From seri muka to talam cendol.
Sometimes they have some leftover cake that sold on discount price in the night.
The nasi lemak pandan special taste quite nice and it is cheaper than the Authentic Nyonya Cuisine at Peranakan Place Restaurant Nu Sentral. I enjoyed the little moment there upon seated. The total bills cost for RM17.44 and I guess it is due to the sides dishes that I ordered.
