This is a new cafe since 2015. Previously there was only a soveniour shop. Like the place as it has a balcony bar facing the KK Waterfront. And is spacious. Staff are energetic . Loved the HRC pins I purchased. Thank You for a lovely time . Top marks to the staff.
It's worth a visit for the Retail Store, the album covers on the wall, and the memorabilias placed around the Cafe. The Cafe has good service, good food, and good music.

The food, drinks & service is right up there with the high standards consistently found in the Hard Rock Cafes around the world but the current band performing there, MORANOS, was the highlight of my visit.
Went to the Hard Rock 4 nights in a row to be entertained by this energetic and versatile band. From oldies to top 40 hits to classic rock, a truly masterful performance. I liked how all the vocalist are equally strong whilst complementing each other with their own styles ably supported by the musicians who can sing pretty well too!
Even the DJ, the lovely Mya, kept the music highly entertaining in between the live sets.
I'm actually thinking of a repeat trip to KK (I'm from KL) just to listen to the band once again.

Food was amazing. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. Had a fantastic time and also a gift shop where I purchased a t shirt and fridge magnet. Would recommend it and would love to visit again 😊
I'm In Foods and beverage industries since 1986 until visited no kitchen no stars to 5 stars hotelier Nor can beat Hard Rock Cafes kitchen Kota Kinabalu daily cleaniness and hygiene compliance international Michelin Standard, from floor to working tables to cooking ranges cleaner better than home floor and kitchen.
Even cans apply full bust air conditioning great arrangement. Kitchen central control it is woh.
Most 3 to 5 stars hardly able view GM often visits and inspection every department clean and hygiene as special kitchen section
As good as any Hard Rock I've visited. Music at the right volume, food and service good, small shop but has a reasonable range

We had a great time at the hard rock cafe, excellent food with an add bonus of live band competing for band of the year competition. The only down fall wad one of our waitress couldn't speak any English and want very helpful. Would recommend to anyone staying in KK. �
