Joshua Bistro in Mount Austin, Johor with an inconspicuous shopfront belies a casual and modern interior cloaked in earthy tones. With the gentle harmonies of Christmas Carols playing in the background, creating a relaxed but festive atmosphere. Joshua Bistro serves delicious Western cuisine, presented in a manner fit for any high-end restaurant. Their signature Rose of Salmon is a work of art and is as delicious as it is beautiful. With a hint of garlic and a touch of peppery heat it is sure to satisfy the taste buds. The Beef Stew was another highlight made from slow braised beef chuck in a rich and full bodied soup. The beef pieces large and so soft and tender that the same spoon used for the soup could be used to cut the beef. Fabulous! Their Classic Caesar Salad with Chicken Bites was another stand out. Light and fresh, with the lightly spiced and grilled chicken bites, so tender and flavourful capping off this dish perfectly. The New York Style Fish n Chips presented another satisfying meal served with lightly battered soft and flaky fish, golden fried chips, rich creamy tartar sauce and a light salad. The Churros were a perfect end to an amazing meal. Served in a lattice-like shape, sprinkled lightly with snowy icing sugar, served with delicious choc chip icecream and thick, rich chocolate sauce. The Churros baked till golden, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, we're surpsingly light and delicate. Our experience at Joshua Bistro was very pleasant and enjoyable; made more so by the friendly and attentive service by Joshua himself and his very capable staff. Thank you for a great meal. Beef stew amazing, smoked duck aglio olio wonderful, signature oven baked chicken best. Iced chocolate favorite, rose latte special, wine makes occasion. Such a wonderful place.

We're on LCHF diet and hope to reduce carb intake to the minimum, and Joshua Bistro was able to swap the potatoes and breads with eggs. Not only the kitchen fullfilled our requirements and the staffs were super friendly, meals were fantastic too! Love the beef stew, and the fried chicken chop was succulent inside. Yum!!
