My first time there was probably 3years ago with my family when we happened to just drive by and saw this little shop out of nowhere. Went in and liked the ambience instantly. The staff were nice to us and the floor manager introduced us the meats that were being offered in the aging fridge, aside from the table menu, at the end i took the 500g sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection by the chef, Mr Chai. I have been to Volcano Grill for 5 times even for birthdays, and it did not disappoint me. Last saturday I went with my family again for a belated father’s day celebration and had the 1.2kg Tomahawk Steak. Again it did not disappoint and it was scrumptious. This little restaurant is a gem hole, where else in ipoh can u find 500g of steak and 1.2kg Tomahawk for affordable price, and cooked to perfection? Their desserts are nice and they serve you wine too on the house. I strongly recommend this place if you are a steak lover � Thank you Volcano Grill. You never disappoint. Excellent! The very first try after several times I saw couple of my fb frens highly credit on it.
Can't thanks enough to them to promise serving tiramisu as dessert for our xmas set meal. I totally understand during this type of festive, restaurant must be in high demand and set course been fixed, very difficult to change for anyhow if everyone come with SPECIAL REQUEST. BF is a big fans of tiramisu, I was just trying my luck to request if they willing to serve tiramisu as dessert :D All the food we having all taste perfectly, totally fresh, juicy and quality. Service crew, I must say all are very courtesy, paying good attention for everyone. Food is really big in portion, we felt sorry of left over n explained them food all are awesome, the reason we are just full n left the food. Really appreciate n surprise restaurant even giving us a complimentary cake n extra bottle of cute sizes red wine. And come to the price, I would say the this is really worth for price. At first BF think it is little bit pricy for a restaurant in Ipoh. After the meal, the one who said pricy end up he gave tipping as restaurant has no GST & service charge, so you can imagine how satisfied we are :)

Da place to be for excellent food and service! Came in to celebrate our 13 Wedding Anniversary and was treated with a quick special Chef recommendation top with lots of in-house goodies .. sake, wine, great main course, cake with fireworks and a bouquet of lovely roses for wifey! Truly a wow experience! HIghly recommended for all in search of excellent food regardless the occasion.. Chai (the chef) will ensure that .. Awesome place!
had been supporting Volcano Grill Café since the opening of the restaurant. It is a place that not only provides you fine cuisine, but also incredible dining experience around the town. You are greeted warmly by the staffs, learn about the food you had explained by the chef, get surprises on special occasions and more. It is not a normal priced restaurant, but worth every penny you spent. Definitely a recommended place for food lovers.

Celebrate childhood friend's birthday at Volcano. 1st time there. Chef Chai personally made recommendations. We tried the grilled pork belly, BBQ lamb and aged sirloin beef. Was surprised our "mains" came with a soup (onion) and charsiew puree with salad. All the meats were delicious and perfectly cooked. A nice, fruity french red wine accompanied our meal. Another surprise came: a cake with a special sparkling candle for our birthday girl. Chef threw in kopi too. Thank you so much Chef Chai and your team.
Service is top notch. Food is excellent - the dry aged beef was yummylicious tender. What can I say? Highly recommended! You haven't tasted a steak until you've had Volcano's steak

First visit to the restaurant to celebrate mom's birthday. I can only describe they provide excellent service and great food. Not to mention the chef/owner Mr. Chai, he is so kind and thoughtful. Strongly recommend for you guys out there to give it a visit. �

This is the first restaurant review I ever had in my life . First try at this restaurant with my friend a while ago . A simple description is nice food , great wine , good place for gathering . A very friendly chef that makes our dinner time full with surprises . A definitely recommended place to dine & looking forward to our next gathering .
Highly recommended! A cosy restaurant with good service, and friendly staffs and bosses(Win and Khun).. most importantly they serve quality food. Remember to try their dry aged beef, it's really delicious. I will definitely visit again.
Great place for steak lovers... Quality vs price is exceptional.. don't expect very fancy decoration but the food will tells the story..
Chef Chai running around to ensure customers are satisfied and well done explanation on the reason of his choice of meat. Straight for the meat lovers and not for light eaters..
