I shocked to witness the meticulous concept that they the owner tried hard to portray. Never in M'sia I had witnessed such a restaurant like ROV which caters for all walks of life. A must go place in Penang. Loved their food and definitely the music, a wholesome experience.
Superb service, awesome people & delicious food. Great venue to host events too. Place is bigger than it looks and they have rooms on level 2 for private functions.
And for now there's no minimum spent required to book the room for exclusive use. Their main focus is to cater a memorable dining experience to the customers.
You can even request to decorate the place with balloons (additional cost applies) to surprise your guests. My kids were delighted to see the balloons when they entered the room.
Menu changes frequently.
Do try their mushroom &/or seafood chowder soup. Each bowl of soup comes with 1 piece of garlic bread. Their garlic bread is so good that we ordered an additional basket.
For main course, can try Pesto Pasta & crusted herb chicken. Stuffed chicken with cheese and spinach is a bit too strong for our likings though.
Do consider going ROV for dinner there as you can get to enjoy live singing at 8pm.

It's a superb place to hang out in Penang, either for a dinner with a couple of close friends or a private party for a big group! My first impression when I first stepped in was I was totally astonished at and blown away by the rustic yet glamorous and classy interior. Groovy ambience. Great food and wine. Love their seafood chowder and lamb shank! And of course not to forget their super friendly staff and awesome services which will definitely make me anticipate my next trip there.
Love the ambience, their music....Dj and Live Band. You can never find a restaurant such as this in Penang. Good selection of wine and liquors. My current favourite place to chill and party. Check out their monthly events, they know what they are doing....a serious night scene in Penang. Thanks ROV for choosing Penang as your home base.
Lovely ambience, very friendly staff and great music. Love the band, songs were performed spot on! I love the cabana area. I'd definitely bring my friends here for a night out when they visit Penang. Drinks could be a little better though, I will be honest there is alot of need for improvement. Keep it up okay!

Great place to be with friends and family , fantastic foods , awesome dj and songs played like old school , retro , rnb and house , pleasant staff .....superb place and I love it.
Yesterday was having a great dinner over there. Like the ambience, friendly staff and of course the mouth watering foods. Definitely will pay a visit again!
Had the ROV platter with Sizzling Dark Chocolate Brownie... simply awesome... and of course with the cosy ambience and soothing music ...
Great ambience with dim lights and live band. It’s a perfect spot to chill with a bunch of friends or host a private party. Served great food too 👍🏻.
