My wife and I had dinner tonight after someone recommended the place to us and they couldn't have been more right in doing so. The potato and leek soup and the 62° egg were our starters which were both fantastic. Our mains were the salmon and 150 day aged beef which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Our desserts were the lava cake and the tirimisu which rounded off the meal superbly. This is our 3rd stay in Georgetown, Penang and was definitely our best meal that we've had. I would strongly recommend that others give the Arte Restaurant a try as it won't disappoint you.

Had the set lunch. Delectable gourmet at very fair price. Mushroom Soup was the best I had ever had. Shaw Xing Chicken was so flavourful with the tender chicken flesh that fell off the bone but still in pieces that melted in the mouth. The Pulled Pork Tagliatelle was gorgeously presented with edible flowers and pulled pork that was simply delicious and pasta cooked just right. Special mention of Seoh Hoon who was the best and most attentive hostess! Thank you for the great service!

Surprising to found a good restaurant in lorong. Wagyu beef, 62 degree egg, lime sorbet .. really impress me.. taste jus nice .. thanks for your preparation, i hv a great valentine s day. Of course, thanks to my hubby too to bring me here�. Strongly recommend for all valentine.

I would say this is indeed a 5 star dining experience. The staff was very attentive and they are well versed with the menu and serving. Me and my girlfriend also like the warm hospitality that was provided. The menu offers respectable choices and the restaurant itself has a nice and cozy environment. The food was on par with quite a number of high end restaurants in Penang and that being said it is overall an excellent dining experience.

We went yesterday and fell in love with the place. So we went back today and also booked for tomorrow. To say the food is simply sublime is an understatement. Head Chef Jay Tey Chun Keat is destined to a great future. It is amazing that someone this young can have mastered his craft to this level. The service is excellent while relaxed and friendly to complement the experience Next time you are in Georgetown, just go there and enjoy. Not doing so would be foolish... The place is rather small so booking is recommended.

Nice food and ambience, comfortable and cozy. Staff were exceptionally friendly and have very good knowledge on food hence able to provide very helpful recommendations. Enjoyed their pork belly appetiser to max! The seafood risotto and red wine poached pear dessert were awesome too! Looking forward to another visit.. Will definitely be back. Just a reminder to all customers to have proper dining etiquette at such environment, do not speak loudly or play whatsapp voice messages loudly as though you are at a private place.. It's distracting and show no respect to the host as well as other customers :)
