Ate here back in September with my wife and kids and didn't get around to writing a review yet. This place is outstanding in all aspects: the historical/attractive/homey décor, the professional/friendly service, the creative/delicious food. Highly recommend. We ate at several places in Penang and this was the best all-in, hands down.

Assalamu'alaikum and hello to all the review readers.. I went there with my group, Persatuan Teater Resdong's.. We ordered quite a number of foods and they were all delicious, and I mean allllllll!!! The fried mozzarella(s) wew yummy, the gado-gado(s) omaigod, then came the fish and chips(s) and I was like, u are not suppose to be this flavourful u stupid fish..! And then the chicken chop(s), yea they're all with an S cuz we ordered 2 haha.. The ikan bakar, ayam penyet, nasi goreng bujang lapok and some more other foods was effing good as well.. Damn I'm no review writer but this place surely needs a review from me.. Thanx to our beloved Jumie Samsudin for recommending us to come here.. I will surely come back with my family for dinner, or lunch, or breakfast, or whenever.. Thanx to the waitresses as well as they were like so very polite.. And I mean very.. I would recommend this to all u guys that's reading my comments.. Order whatever u want from the menu.. They are that damn delicious! And to the chef, I'll look for u, and when I find u, I'll just ask u one question, what u did with the effing fish and tartar sauce u chef u! K bye..
I’m here again. So in love with this place. Awesome food, nice cosy place and friendly staff. Totally satisfied my craving.
This cafe is my favorite to taste the sumptous foods serve in a romantic and authentic style placed on a table. Staffs are so lovely and service oriented... More over love the ambiance... All are the best of all the best for me... :) keep it up serving the good food..
food was really good and the staff were courteous and polite...it was great service service indeed! A must try place for those looking for a bit of a novelty in the ambience.
Delicious food, beautifully presented, at a reasonable price. The menu variety seems outstanding, and the service was good, too. Perhaps the new "go to" place for Malay food in Georgetown.

We ate here last night. We got there about 1830hr and it was busy but the staff were still smiling and the food was awesome. We did think 6MYR for a small, very warm, bottle of water was a bit steep considering the usual price elsewhere is 3MYR for a large, chilled bottle. Despite this, we will definitely return as there are several more dishes on the menu we want to try.

A "MUST" for this place.. Double thumbs up for the taste.. The foods are very tempting & delicious! Worth the money, affordable prices.. Relax & cozy surrounding with jazz & sentimental background music.. Lovely!! Highly recommended..
